Kukkaku picked up Tsuroshima and the other fullbringers and are training them for the war.

In other words, setup for everyone vs the Quincies.

This entire chapter was a mess. It wasn't bad, just seemed sloppy again.

He seems like he's rushing things again. They really need to either make some chapters longer, or just cut the filler pomegranate and get to the point.

And by the end of the day, he'll still only know or use Getsuga Tenshou.

-That one has to be grimmjow, no other espada fits that attitude.
-Reforging the blade into something that resembles the original doesn't necessarily mean stronger, but what else can happen?
-Ginjo roaming freely doesn't make sense. First they sent 3 squad captains/ lieutenants to stop him, then he is just set free in soul society?.

I agree that it's grimmjow, but I just don't understand how he was able to slice a guy in half who couldn't be killed by kurosaki/urahara and absorbed aion :/

Both Urahara and Ichigo thought they had put the quincy guy in such a state that he couldn't move his body, and if it weren't for Ranso Tenga (Which was a skill so rare, that in Mayuris crazy slaughter of thousands of quincies, he never saw the technique until he fought Uryu)i, they would have been correct.
He was as good as dead anyway when Ichigo left, and only got Urahara because he attacked him from behind. It's easy to see GRimmjow being able to finish off someone in that state.

I guess after the ass beating that Ichigo gave him, he re-evaluated his life choices, got all the feels, and then switched sides.

Doesn't make sense to me, but even if he was still evil, the Shinigami have bigger fish to fry atm than Ginjo.

I'm not arguing the chances of Ginjo turning good. Soul Society had been supposedly pursuing Ginjo for a long time, the least I would expect is he got imprisoned after he arrived SS, like Aizen, just less than 22 thousand years.

And how is everyone expecting Grimmjow to be as weak as he was in the Las Noches arc?. Almost 2 years passed after his fight with Ichigo, everyone in Soul Society got stronger after that incident, the least we could expect is that Grimmjow did aswell.

Seriously. Considering Grimmjow is one of the only espada left alive at this point, it would have been ridiculous if he hadn't gone through a power boost, like say, everyone else in Bleach.

In b4 Grimmjow and Urahara's deal is to save Hallibel who has become Grimmjow's GF.

Fixed. I've said this here before but Soul Society is supposed to be heaven, yet Rukongai is worse than so many poor countries in real life. That's only the one that strikes me the most, the list is really huge.

Great chapter. I was laughing the entire time. What a serious end to it though...the soul king awakens...i didn't expect to see him so soon since the zero squad was all "you'll never meet the soul king!".

I feel as though this seems early in the Arc, I feel like they should do more explanation of why ichigo is there besides to simply heal >_>;

This arc hasn't been going for that long and Ichigo just arrived in this new area. Showing us the Soul King right away does seem kind of "early." In the grand scheme of things, it's not early, but it is for the point where the story is.
