So yeah, I told the girl I liked her and she mirrored the feelings. She just feels a little insecure since she's never kissed, so we are going slow. But, yay~
Oddly enough, I've seen bits and pieces of Magic Duel already, and let me tell you something...It's worth getting up at 5am to watch it. A 5 minute preview was "leaked" to yt, but was immediately taken down. News...duh...oh yea. Sometime in January, there will a day to recognize the most quietest pony ever: Fluttershy! More details to come.

Gooood morning, Ponyville! Today's episode is apparently the return of Trixie, and out-of-context information includes entire team is BABIES. What is the real reason for her return? Will we have another episode of Trixie appearing just to be an pimento? Will we possibly get a recurring character, or possibly redeeming features for her? Tune in and find out in TODAY'S episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic!
Well, what can I say? Trixie's Magic < Twilight's. We all know that.
So episode-wise, it was fun to watch...except for Pinkie, who couldn't talk for jack.
Some things that bothered me were,
1.The origin of the amulet. Where did it come from?
2.If this so happens to be a very powerful amulet, can it overpower a Allicorn?
3.WHERE WAS DERPY.
4.So...Saddle Arabia only has horses....seems legit.
I'm pleased on how this episode really did come out. Twilight using Trixie's forte against her: Parlor Trick Even if the fact she had to use her friends to help her, you just can't help but wonder...IS Twilight's magic really that good? Who knows. Only 8 more episodes will tell.
What sold me on this episode was in the end, at least Trixie realized her mistakes and wanted to wipe the slate clean...So, she did what she did, left ponyville.
...Oh, and Pinkie got clipped by the credits, and Twilight manipulated the 4th Wall....well, she is Twilight...played by Tara Strong...and they both troll....and so on...
...makes sense.
-Ominous Trixie is ominous.
-Asian Pony shopkeepers are now canon.
-Fluttershy. You scary.
-Magic loop de loop with animals!
-MFW Magic fingernails
-Saddle Arabia!
-Oh hi there Pinkie's Rock farm
-Mfw Trixie deleted Pinkie's mouth
-IT'S TIME! To MAGIC DU-Du-DU-D-D-D-D-DUEL!
-Twilight summon a Parasprite! Summoning magic is canon!
-Trixie is highest level Wizard!
-Turning Snails into a baby, and Snips into an old man. Not cool, Trixie.
-Hi there Zecora!
-Trixie. You gone mad with power.
-Zecora is now Yoda.
-Fluttershy. Stop being adorable.
-Trixie is running insane Troll logic now.
-Nice smuggling strategy.
-Fluttershy is so freaking adorable.
-Use the six. The Elements of Harmony!
-Twilight. That secret Batman Gambit.
-Mayor Mare in a bird cage.
-The Dashie has been doubled!
-OH GOD, RULE63!
-Oh ho ho, Twilight! Batman Gambited Trixie.
-Oh Pinkie, broke the 4th wall to complain she still didn't get back her mouth. And suddenly TWILIGHT.
I'd give this 9.5 out of 10. Lots of character development, including the way Trixie admitted to being wrong. I really liked how Twilight simply outwitted Trixie into giving her the amulet by playing her ego like a fiddle. Also used parlor tricks against her. She didn't win by sheer power, but with guile. My only reason for -0.5 would be that Trixie really was a huge bi'tch while she was corrupted with the Alicorn Amulet.
Even if the fact she had to use her friends to help her, you just can't help but wonder...IS Twilight's magic really that good?
Twilight's magic is improving as the show progresses, but she is still a student and probably needs to train even more to master some of the spells. She was surprised when she saw Trixie doing an age spell from the first time, and mentioned it was one of the highest-ranking spells to pull off, and Twilight cannot replicate it. She still can't do it, and the short training with Zecora probably wasn't enough to beat a cheating unicorn. That's why I like it when she made a plan to work around her developing skills and instead fool Trixie.
What sold me on this episode was in the end, at least Trixie realized her mistakes and wanted to wipe the slate clean...So, she did what she did, left ponyville.
I'm still not convinced Trixie "turned her leaf" that quickly. Even without the amulet, Trixie is a boastful hater who was humiliated by Twilight. Twice. And she apologizes on her behaviour? I think she needs another episode to clear her name off.

Didn't the amulet made her that way?

Is this the best episode of S3 yet or what?
I like the way they tricked Trixie into thinking Twilight can really do magic. I doubt Twilight could've really master all those spells in one day, I thought it would be a simple fast-forward montage kind of training. And I like all these callbacks/continuity, this really does feel like a fan-pandering episode in a good way, especially during the part where Pinkie can play 10 instruments without assistance.
Aside from Trixie suddenly changing from a good guy (It felt really rushed or forced), everything positive I like about this show is all in this episode. Good work.
I've been really skeptical about Trixie coming back. There's never been much appeal in her character to me. But they did a great job, and it was just a really well written episode. Very happy!

3k...will be delayed indefinitely, due to a lot of conflicting reasons that will seriously hinder my progress to a snail's pace. Projected Release: December 18th.
As for anything much, we've been all busy with our outside lives as is, anyways...New episodes brings us together for reviews and discussion and after that the thread quiets down...eh. Besides, hopefully our lives don't revolve around this show...Just saying.
To be honest, even trying to watch an episode is a pain sometimes, really. I sometimes don't want to...but I rather watch it with people, so I do with Illegal, and my marefriend Symphony.
On top of things, it's the holiday season, and moreover, I think I'm the only one here in school, and does not have a job to begin with, in which I totally understand.
Moreover...I haven't done a news thing in a while, so I'll just do one...for old times sake.
-Tara Strong is completely late with the whole Britt scandal with thePrince and Princess.
-Laruen Fraust plays our games. Most notably Banned From Equestria (Daily) AND ENJOYS THEM?! :O
-An official statement was posted from Creber's family and Mando respectively. They call this a bunch of hooey and water under the bridge.
-There is a possible two week wait when heading into the final 3 episodes. One source places the 10th episode:"Spike, At Your Service", on the second Saturday of January. Mainly because of the new year. Confirmed, December 29th...apparently. Others say Jan. 5th. Finale expected January 15th, 2013.
-Tombstone, Mic, and apparently Toaster confirmed for Bronycon 2013. H8_Seed, Mando, and quite a number of others will follow.
Of course our lives don't revolve around the show, but it's really nice to have something we can all discuss, since it does in a way bring us all together. As for Mando/Creber, glad they saw just how silly those trolls were trying to be. And to be fair, you don't have to watch with me in the morning, but it's primarily due to the fact that you happen to be up, so it'd be amusing to watch for the sake of reactions and later some small discussions/analysis on what happened.
I've kinda been gone from posting because I started a new job in retail RIGHT before the holiday season. I'm working to figure out my schedule and post still and such, but it's been kinda hectic. I miss these discussions and such.

Naw. That's boring watching it alone. It bothers me since I usually have band-related stuff the night prior, and screws me over, that's all. Don't blame yourself. Also, wrong wording, I meant to say "I want to watch it usually with Illegal for reactions, and Symphony forces me to."
And just a quick fyi, Symphony is my girlfriend's pony alias. She likes Trixie and shares a passion of hating Rarity...
...However, as of late, she has been telling me to stop burning rarity pictures...so she took my lighter and matches.

Even if we didn't have a big participation from the Mane 6, it was an awesome episode of the CMC with the best song of S3 yet. TMPP was pretty cool too, but it didn't get as many feels from me as OBA.
