No, because there are no pre-entry prototypings in a void session. Post-entry prototypings don't count.

I'm about to say screw it to adding spoiler tags.

I'm inclined to agree.

As for the rings, I thought post-entry prototyping still affected the rings, even if they didn't count towards powering up the battlefield. Didn't the trolls use that as the explanation for why they didn't prototype their sprites more than once?

EDIT: then again, I don't think Bec Noir took on Dave or Jade traits from those prototypings, so maybe I'm just crazy.

Yeah, you are. Like I said, prototypings don't affect anything if they were done -inside- the medium. Only outside, which none of the Alpha kids could do.

I still feel inclined we should keep spoilers for any latecomers.

Can you just imagine Tavrisprite enemies, or Erilluxsprite enemies? They're all have exploded from self hatred, or have killed each other in sheer hatred.

The canon name of the Eridan/Sollux sprite is... Erisolsprite. I am not surprised in the least bit.

Also, it seems exploding is something sprites can do on their own accord, and that Erisolsprite has considered doing so, but hasn't followed through with.
