How will the patching for this work?

I see lum for 6th december but what's 3rd jan? Kaiser or Kaiser pre event. Not sure how it was done in KMS so just checking.

They could do the "Midnight Release" stuff for Lumi, Kaiser, and AB. I don't know about Magnus and Hypers, though...

I have a feeling nexon is going to bunch Kaiser and Angelic Burster together. It would be smart of them to get AB here before Christmas.

Even if they did before, a Christmas sale for what would be the strongest class in GMS at the moment would bring them a lot of revenue and it's certainly not impossible that they'd release both at once.

They would have to odd schedule hot times for the classes(assume kaiser and AB were released on the same day). Both Kaiser and AB would have their Hot times scheduled on the same day, meaning that people wouldn't have the ability to get both helms for both classes(as nexon would want people to use the character slot coupons they hand out in order for link skills, which was partially the intention of link skills in the first place, to convince others to try a new class, and with unique link skills each, their intention is for users to try ALL of the new jobs with enough time to play all of them without missing key events, changing the character in world cap from 15 > 18 more or less is indicative of possibly allowing room for conspicuously "3" new characters, which coincide with the number of new jobs/link skills).

ANYWAYS, on release of the legends patch, DS was one of the top harassers/damage dealers as well at the time. Albeit AB brought the gap to a larger level, its no different from previous releases.

luminous unlock > character coupon(to get the chain started, so people wont have to delete a character)

Well, there's two ways of looking at it. I was surprised to hear that GMS was getting Tempest so quickly because there was three jobs involved and AB's release would be past a Christmas sale if they did it even somewhat like KMS so it's possible that they'll bank on Luminous and Kaiser instead with Kaiser being the 'Christmas sale' class. On the other hand it is not out of the question that they'd schedule Hot Days for both of the helms that the two classes are supposed to get and once that's out of the way there isn't really a key event that relies on playing one of the characters.

Fair point about DS, but Mercedes was also a class that could bring in a lot of revenue and she was released in MSEA at a time when most people didn't have holidays. It just so happened that it coincided with MSEA's major patch times (May is one...I forgot what was the other).

I wonder why nexon didn't schedule angelic buster for the week between christmas and new years. That would be the best time to make money off nx with the two most overpowered characters, kaiser and ab, being released in the week before and the week after holiday season. at least it does give us more time to enjoy each class.
