I sure hope they do because it's rather difficult to find a high-level spot not run over by hackers.

Just make the level cap 300, but have the xp required extremely high, Like paragon levels in D3.

I wouldn't be opposed to it if there were actual incentive. By 19x your main stat is completely maxed out and when Tempest comes all your skills are done by 17x.
I would also like to see a separate ranking for those 200+.

The single biggest thing(apart from my wrong ban obviously) that killed my enjoyment playing Maple was the introduction of the anti bot drop system. We all know it made zero impact on botting. I never got into bossing but I loved hunting drops from regular monsters but the ability to do that was destroyed long ago. If they bring that back it will be a huge improvement.

All mobs dropping all things sounds like an even worse idea than Mystery Mastery Books.

When I said in the past that I wished for more variety since the monsters at my range just don't drop any useful equips I didn't think that they were going to be that extreme. On the other hand my Bishop with 6 failed AR 30s in a market that has them once in a blue moon would disagree on this being worse than the MMB system; at least this doesn't make your character sit around with no SP to spend until you get lucky.EDIT: Wait, scratch that. I completely forgot about the botters somehow.

Arrol Wrote:Actually, there's been debates on Basil saying that there are ways to increase the meso limit. Given how Nexon tends to work with its code, it would be a very, very bad idea. 1) Switching to 64-bit alone means that anyone running a 32-bit version of Windows, which is still a lot of people, can't run MapleStory. 2) The other one I found on Basil, switching from an int to a string, is also bad, because there are many, many places in the game that use that variable and chances are very high that Nexon won't find all those instances. Or be able to change them without breaking the game. |
