Poll post updated Wink

Ah, now it makes sense! I still don't know how are they going to lump the patches but I'm ready to watch the wailing at the MSEA forums if they really get Luminous, Kaiser and AB before us-

Wait, I WANT LUMINOUS TOO.

This isn't speeding up, this is picking and choosing.

I'm thinking that NxEU will release a gigantic patch jumping all the way to Tempest / Into the Storm or complete all Tempest patches.

The sheer time it would take for a patch that big would be 24+ hours. Nexon spent 7.5 hours with Mutiny.

If they try to go really fast, they should just couple a some patches, like Mutiny+Mihile, Champions+Rise Against or something.

I still don't think the size of the patch should be able to effect the ability to patch in a few hours, remember that all they have to do is transfer the new/updated files required to run the server and making sure it runs properly w/o any startup errors. I'm thinking it's the server upgrades, database changes, server maintenance, trouble testing, uploading patch files, uploading manual patchers, uploading setup file, changing configuration files to tell the client that it should patch, etc that causes patches to take longer than needed.
