No more twinkies

There's tons of similar desserts out there to be perfectly honest.

A twinkie is just an ordinary spongecake(?), shaped like a pig-in-a-blanket with cream inside

I don't get why Twinkies were so popular anyway. They look like plain ordinary cakes. Is there a reason that they made so many Americans fat?

They're originally popular just because they taste good and they were a "guilty pleasure". Having been around for at least 3 generations of people, I think it's more of a nostalgia thing. I remember eating them as a kid and my parents remember eating them as kids, so having such an "iconic" brand go under is really depressing to a lot of people. Thing is, you're not supposed to eat like a majillion of them cause they are unhealthy as all hell.

The twinkie stereotype false. Sure, junk food is bad, fast food is bad, but the "Americans are fat from twinkies" isn't 100% true.

I am honestly more upset over the loss of those bags full of the mini donuts. Also Ho-Hos, those things are delicious frozen.

What loss? Another company will doubtlessly buy them and things will more than likely remain mostly unchanged.
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.
