MapleStory Europe getting Kaiser soon?

EMS is just straight up pandering now. This is sad, and should not be happening at all. You shouldn't skip important patches just to please their players.

This, this so much. Have some respect for the content changes! ...not to mention everything will be a mess.

I don't mean this in a negative way, but when has EMS ever done things in order? They waited until after the release of Pirates to do 4th job. Or was it the other way around... I can't even remember anymore.

What I'm trying to say is, why is this a bad thing exactly?

That is different in that 4th job was previous content and Pirates was newer content. In this case, They will get Helisium without previous content, or they will get Kaiser with a different storyline, which will require more coding and more attention from Korea.

This is bad because you don't know how the new content will mesh with the old content, given that other content is missing. It doesn't seem like there should be a problem, but you never know. It becomes unstable.

Given how Justice introduces quite a bit of changes we could consider 'negative' (DS nerf/PQ requirement change) it's rather like they're skipping it on purpose and yet the Justice patch introduces some cool new features like the Character Card system and Part-Time Job system along with instanced bosses. The lack of mention about Luminous also concerns me because skipping out not just one but two of the heroes (If it happens; maybe they're just using the picture as a highlight) likely means there's going to be even more bugs than a regular bugfest.

Well the thing that intrigued me was the mention of their own exclusive job. If that was voted, would they have gotten Dragon Warrior/Jett? :f6:

My guess (and hopes!) is that EMS will throw one MASSIVE update with the new jobs, revamps (Resistance and such) and maybe some more exclusive stuff.

Actually, I don't think it would be that weird.

The whole Pantheon? (I forget what it's called) storyline is separate from the Maple World, if I remember correctly.

Except the entire portion of Pantheon, Kaiser, etc. comes after the complete revamp of practically half the systems in the game. Kaiser isn't built to be a 10-30-70-120 class, yet they're probably going to try and make it work, or just give Kaiser a completely unfair advantage compared to everyone else if they aren't giving Tempest first.

If they're going to implement Tempest before Phantom and everything, why skip Luminous? It basically comes with Tempest.

well the only real hard part of pushing a live update from korea is the translation
everyone's running on the same code, if not the same code page. :v

Perhaps they're getting Kaiser instead of jett/Zen.. Would be weird but quite awesome at the same time

I'm pretty sure the size of the content that's coming with the patch shouldn't affect the length of the patch.
They have already changed and tested (hopefully) all of their features and if they are content with the bugs fixed, they push it to the live server. AFAIK, all they have to do is test if it's running properly on their live servers or upgrade the servers as needed and they turn the servers back on to the general public once they are content with their testing.

I'm glad to see Phantom was the overwhelming winner, but I'd really like to know what this poll was all about because I can't believe they're voting for stuff they'd definitely get eventually (Except for other server exclusive and Jett).
