I told DJ this already. Hostess is set to fire everyone, and sell their assets. Assets being the rights and everything involving their recipes. Twinkies will just change hands to a different manufacturer.

Meh. I haven't had a Twinkie, or really anything made by Hostess, in over 4 years. I won't miss them.
Laying off 18,500 people is pretty damn big though.

It's been forever since I've had a Twinkie, but I did buy some Ho Ho's which I like better anyway. I think Hostess's problems were deeper than the unions. Any business that folds so quickly was not in the best shape.

Tastykake can now take over!
