Discuss? If I didn't lag like pomegranate in GMS, I'd be double excited to play Lumi early, but at least I got KMS Lumi.

And my point is, Nexon will patch on the 5th and release Lumi on the 6th. Most of the time when Nexon lists a date, it usually means a patch that day / night and the actual content the following day. There's always midnight release.

Case and point to Rise Against being released on the 14th as opposed to Nexon saying the 13th, because they patched on the 13th.

Wha? There were two instances of Nexon saying that the maintenance for Raise against would be on the 15th (notice for Ninja Castle, event calender, etc), and one notice for it being released on the 14th (Rise Against Highlights).

I'm thinking there's assumtion going on since the next section of the site unlocks on the 6th, it'd be related to Luminous. But what I think... it'd reveal more info about Kaiser.

Okay, it's a decent trailer. However... Do I hear new sounds from the attacks of Luminous? It seems it is partial Korean and Global.
The sound effects from the animated intro is different (there are no grunts, lol) so I'm guessing the work for that is finished.

And...

I have never seen this in KMS. We have the orb that fills up with either light or darkness. I guess Global is the first one to receive this change?

I wonder the same too :f6: if we're getting an "exclusive" gauge design for GMS. It looks better in terms of design, except that it'll take up more room than the one in KMS..

I'm actually a bit confused at how GMS's would logically work visually.. I mean, going from dark to light, I can see the possibility of +1 "light feather" and -1 "dark feather". Equilibrium on the other hand.. I see "feathers" on both sides filled ._.

Having to fill up both Light and Dark completely for Equilibrium doesn't really make much sense when you compare it to how the one in KMS works.. and filling 5 "light feathers" then instantly fill all 5 "dark feathers" at once to enter Equilibrium mode is just weird..

... and that "Mode" icon beneath the gauge is just too much... it actually makes the gauge look worse..

My thoughts exactly. I also really hope they designed it so that it can be moved to the right like the one in KMS because it's a tad annoying having to glance to my left to see it.

Finally! I've been waiting very long for this update.

The teaser website is really awesome (best one for GMS yet?), and the trailer is decent too (compared to a lot of previous pomegranatety ones). I love how they used Tempest BGMs for both of them, and the way they wrote about the storyline in the page.

Let's all prepare.. for the most exciting - and biggest - MapleStory update ever.

Can't wait for it!

That trailer wasn't so good. I don't like how they cut the animation like that. In my opinion it doesn't fit in with those gameplay clips.

They have yet to get rid of the "Level up guide" event that gives coins. I won't be surprised if they forget about it when tempest gets here

Hm..I'm very interested in that..maybe it allows you to use both light and dark at the same time? But then there is also a gauge on the side, maybe that's time dealing with dark? Who knows.

EDIT:AH WAIT! I think I get it. The middle crystal shows what form you're in currently. When both sides completely fill up you'll under equilibrium then it will reset.

It could just be a graphical change, and not an actual gameplay change, but you never know.
