While I congratulate you on your damage/level, I don't believe that anyone who got their levels mostly through leeching should deserve to call themself "Number 1"

He's Number 1 in Bra, that's a fact. Whether he actually earned it is up for debate, but your rank is a numerical fact, not opinion.
Also, I want that song name. D:<

while I respect MasPan on his opinion, I also think that he plays his character nicely, so, if you add that to the fact he's level 143, that makes him #1.

That I will give him credit for - it's rare to see a leecher actually be able to handle their character effectively.

1. This video does not show actual gameplay, it shows flashy clips and effects.
2. What MS character is HARD to handle effectively ? You must be under the delusion that MS is a hard game to play.

Agree with the first part. I wish he would have editted the video himself, and showed more than him doing one or 2 attacks, then moving to the next scene. It's great music and editting.... but it doesn't really show the play style.
About the 2nd part, classes can be handled differently. A ranged class might just sit at newties and hold down their attack, or a mage spamming an ultimate. I would qualify those two under easy to play. On the other hand, melee classes are a bit different. A DK trying to stay zerked while training at skeles, a bandit comboing SB, assaulter, assassinate, taunt, bstep, and BoT, a paladin doing rush -> ACB -> blast -> rush repeat. Some classes can be difficult to play effectively (mainly melee). Brawlers fall under the same category. Every attack from 2nd job up is NOT spammable. The ones that are slightly spammable have very slow animations. You need to chain different attacks together just like a bandit (trust me I know, I have both).
That's why it would have been nice for him to record it himself, and show like 20 second + clips before moving on to the next scene.

I'd call combo skills irritating...there's no skill to that, you just have to press more buttons. Just requires more attention. I've played every class available, none of them are "hard". This game isn't hard. When's the last time someone went to a boss and said "WHOA, THAT WAS HARD!!"? It's always "OMG LAG t_t". Lag = difficulty..? Seems to be the main factor of difficulty in MS for most people.

I think Sean pretty well hit the nail on the head. And as a matter of fact, I don't think I've ever heard someone describe Maple Story as "hard" or "difficult." Getting 4th job and higher isn't hard, it's just way time consuming. There's a big difference in the two. Lagging makes things REALLY frustrating, not hard. Especially when you're 4th on a Zhelm looting list, you then die because of lag, and then find out that four helmets dropped. Not that it happened to me or anything. Maple is a time consuming game and not much else. I do quite enjoy it, but as far as difficulty goes, it doesn't even need to be rated. And as much as I love WoW, it falls under the same scrutiny. WoW only becomes slightly difficult when you're doing raids and instances such as Cara or Zul'Aman, and now, some of the higher 80 instances in Northrend. Fact of the matter is, in WoW, if you attack something that is obviously stronger than you or a higher leveled elite, you deserve to die. Period. And dying by having your face smashed in by the Fel Reaver doesn't constitute hard either. LOLOLOL.
And if you want the definition of the word "hard", pop in F-Zero GX and try beating everything on the highest difficulty setting. This game redefined "hard". >_>

And this isn't WoW >_>
Someone can leech all they want all day long, and learn how to play any class in Maple in 5 minutes. That is NOT the case in WoW. That's the trouble that veteran players on WoW servers are having. This "invite a friend" thing on WoW grants a free Zevra Mount and 300% EXP until you hit level SIXTY! Everyone wants to get to a high level so they can get tier 6 gear and a bunch of epics. But what is REALLY happening? In instances, you need DPS, Tanks, and Healers, and each one of these jobs presents it's own trials. If you level 1-60 in a week and expect to tank a mid-level instance when you don't even KNOW how to tank, that's a big problem, because when the tank sucks, everyone else dies. And the same goes with Healers and DPS. If you don't know how to do your job because you barrelled your way to 60 in a week with cheap EXP, you can't really expect anyone to show you. 1-60 is when you're supposed to be learning to play your class and if you're leveling 3 times a day, you end up skipping most of Azeroth to begin with, which is stupid because that's where you're supposed to be learning to handle your character. I know what it's like, because I got 1-60 in two weeks with this 300% EXP thing. But along the way, I stopped in places that we skipped to learn the game and looked at guides so I didn't fall behind on my Paladin. Maple Story doesn't have NEAR the spells or skills that a single player in WoW has. My Paladin has twice the skills of all the mage classes put together in Maple Story. I have THREE hotbars FULL of spells, and each hotbar holds about 14 spells. Of course, it's not so much anymore since I respecced to full Retribution, but it's still more than any class in Maple. Am I saying WoW is hard? Nope, 'cause it's really not. What I am saying is that it does require more "skill" to "handle" a single class in WoW than it does to handle all the classes in Maple.
Fact is, there is not a class on Maple that is "hard" to handle. I just don't believe it. >_>

Well of course he isn't going to show himself making stupid mistakes or tripping up, I was simply commenting on what he showed to us. None are HARD to handle, with experience - I simply meant that, for someone with next to no experience on his character, he plays it pretty well.
(After all the time I've spent on my DrK, I've picked up little, almost insignificant quirks about various attacks and abilities, in the same way people learned to Wave Dash in SSBM - it has a minute effect on the game, but added with everything else I've picked up, I can do things now that I didn't think possible early on).
