Sleepywood Sold, Old Site Probably Gone Forever
I think we all got our answer regarding the degree of attention and effort this project can expect.
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.

Silly or stupid, it was a perfect opening for an example of the difference between 'existing' and 'thriving'

There probably were 5 posts.

I like how after Eos's post was deleted it makes it seem like that guy is talking to the post starter.

They deleted them, I don't see them anymore.

Aw. Thought it was just me because I don't have an account.

Well, I hope they stumble upon this thread and read through it.

Wouldn't hold your breath on that one, Maur hasn't been here since 9/22 as far as I can tell.

Oh. That site's gone now? I haven't been to it in... so long. Like beta days and the first year of global type of long. I was banned for some reason. Don't even remember why. Unlike others, I didn't find Southperry through any posts on SW, but instead from a plug from a guy named LordKatz. I'm sure some of you know the name. I was one of those weirdos who actually had a passing interest in the game's attempt at a story, so of course when I saw IsaacGS's stuff, I pretty much made it a thing to start lurking here ever since.

Considering I started to hear about Sleepywood less and less over the years, I guess this was to be expected.

Teach me! The thing is dead until I find a use for it anyway!

That would be our ex-mod Magus; who has now moved on to art college.

Just thought I'd share this e-mail I got.

Quote:Hey iamflip,

It's been quite a while since we've seen you at Sleepywood.net and quite frankly, we missed you. The community as we know it, has evolved and has become part of the Maple Radio network. This is fantastic, as we're working closely with Nexon in providing you guys fun filled events.

Now, iamflip - for security purposes, to make sure you still are the appropriate owner of your account, you are required to change your password. You can access your old sleepywood account and reset the password at this link below:

http: //www.maple-radio .com/forum/login.php?do=lostpw

This was necessary because we changed ownership as Maple Radio now hosts Sleepywood, so we requested to do this for our users' information security.

Also, you can follow our updates on Sleepywood's official Facebook Fan Page, found at:

http: //www.facebook .com/sleepywoodnet

Feel free to ask your questions there, or within our forums.

Once you reset your password, you can discuss Sleepywood topics here:

http: //maple-radio .com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=274

We will be using the domain Sleepywood.net and Sleepywood.org in the mean time, just using Maple Radio's link as temporary in the mean time.

So finally, we must say this once more, welcome back and we hope you enjoy your new stay!

Checked their Facebook, seems they're merging their userbase with Maple Radio's and Perion Corner's forums into one big forum.

That's not news. That was literally their day one announcement, nearly three months ago now.

I didn't even notice it was gone...I remember posting a LOT on that forum way back when. Oh well.
Not to be a pessimist but I feel like whatever maple radio is trying to do with it is going to end badly.

The thing that makes me most sad about this is that the site was pretty much my childhood on the internet. Most of my internet time from ages 12-15 or so was spent on their forums or playing maplestory. It used to be fun to sometimes go back and read the silly posts I would make as a young teenager.

I realized the forums were dying, but it's still sad to see it go. I also really don't think mapleradio will revive it in any way.
