I'll still use SP over this, The website can be a lagfest so yeah.
Nice idea though, Honestly didn't expect it. (expected basilmarket to do this before nexon lol)

Hm, SP's still is simply handier. This 'official' one went way too fancy with all the spoilers and stuff. SP's fits on the page, at least. It also is more detailed than the new official one.

Meh, I suppose it doesn't hurt to have an extra one. Maybe the people at Nexon were just tired of visiting SP just to check the status of their own servers so they decided to make their own.

I'm surprised that they're doing this, but southperrys is still slightly better, by virtue of how the SP one is designed.
Being able to see them all the channels in a glance> having to scroll through a list. Yes, I am just that lazy.

Oh lol. Well, time for some comparison:
Southperry/MMOStatus: + Original + Clean interface + Support for multiple games (MMOStatus) + Shows Cash Shop and MTS Status + Shows server latency + Can see all servers with one glance + Works even if Nexon.net is down - No own status for "Recently Restarted" or "Maintenance" Nexon Server Status: + Pretty Interface + "Recently Restarted" or "Maintenance" statuses + Slightly faster updating (assuming Nexon has automated it) - Not original idea - Supports only MS servers - Doesn't show Cash Shop and MTS Status - Doesn't show server latency - Too many spoilers - Not available if Nexon.net servers are down

Its Nice that nexon has their own server status, but people have been throwing around "originality" regarding this. Southperry was not the first one to come up with the idea. Yes, its the best out right now but, its not the original one to be made. idea How long has this server status page been up? (not mines saw the link at basil) http://www.that website that tried to ri...e.com/gms/ To tell you the truth i dont know if this status checker is just doing random or those ch's are actually down.

Also, how is your pointing out the idea in Zelkova's thread helping prove your statement that ours was not the first? That thread actually shows we discussed it as a new feature, not as "make something like 'whoever' has, but better".

I want to see how many login after the Resistance patch and see if the numbers increase over the time or decrease.

It's not going to happen any time soon. It's drastically different connecting to the server and asking it for specific information than to passively test availability & latency.
