US Election Discussion

Man, when he SMILES, I agree, Ryan looks sinister as pineapple with that creepy ass smile of his.

Flonne Wrote:If you are referring to what I think you are referring to, then no; in the second debate, he claimed he had stated from the beginning that it was a premeditated act of terrorism, when in fact all that happened was he used the WORD "terrorism" in his speech that night. The moderator, who did such a pisspoor job that it was almost special, backed him up on that, and has since then come back (very recently, past week at most) and said she was in fact wrong to have done so. If you are referring to something else, refresh my memory!

Search for "Secretary Clinton has done an extraordinary job. But she works for me. I’m the president. And I’m always responsible. And that’s why nobody is more interested in finding out exactly what happened than I did (sic)."

I don't think 24 hours is enough time to cover all their daily fails.

Going to drop my ballot off as we speak... I have to say the fatalism in this thread is entertaining. I can't see either Romney or Obama starting WWIII.

To those interested, I did vote Obama, but that's a formality here in CA. I think he's done a fair job at the recovery, but more importantly I'm voting against Romney's (and the conservative Repulbican's) religious/social agenda. The amount of nonsense they've been generating on health care coverage for contraceptives is truly amazing. Any Republicans want to explain why employers must provide coverage for viagra but not contraceptives?

Economics is really a wash for me at the moment so I voted against the draconian civil rights of the conservative right.

Ah! I do recall that, now that you give me the exact quote. However, actions speak a lot louder than words, and since he said that, he's fallen straight back into denying it, passing it off to someone else, or trying to cover it up/lessen the impact. Basically, damage control.

If he said that then actually did it, I would have been more impressed. Still, he did actually admit it even if it was only one time, so he gets a few points for honesty from me.

I've got a question for everyone.

What would you do if the winner was not who you wanted/voted for?

I have gone to four polling places, all of them claiming to have housed my district, but no longer. This is bull and I'm getting pissed.

@ChaoticCJ;

Compare that too...

I'm not too fond of war, but I'm just stating that G.W.B was never meant to be a wartime president. I didn't mean to start another flame again.

Everyone knew it was an organization that attacked us when the organization publicly comes out to say it. And what organization wouldn't hide their leader if he was the target of several countries?
