i've found it pretty useful on my DrK mind you. plus it's always nice.

and if the darned BaM card effect worked, i'd have a sizable amount of HP remaining after a 1/1 strike

I think Shinku has 88k HP, which means he can tank Cygnus' DR at least once. Sure it's relevant

you got the hp amount spot on, i can tank:

1 empress DR
1-2 PB DR's depending on FA and amount reflected

as for mikhail, i can spam impale without dying on him, as long as i hit the other knights (drain recovers me 15k hp per proc.)

also helps tanking empress while pot-locked and no mobs to attack, and will probs be useful against CPB. the downside though...

That's what I'm getting at. (In my eyes at least,) It's way too much cash to live from a hit from a boss in an MMORPG. Being middle class sucks

i'm middle class too, hopefully that gets fixed soon when i get the new job i'm looking for, but until then ._. hence why i try to keep the NX i use to the minimum, i could be one of those hitting 999k every hit, but if i can't be sure it won't hurt me short/long term IRL, i'm not doing that.

plus, i have a lot more fun doing odd stuff in the game, hp washing, 100% crit dark knight, and so, tanking reflects is also "fun" for me. what's really killing me though is my new internet, sucks so hard i can't sell crap at all, i planned to sell both my old PA's to afford the resets for 20k, but sigh, unable at all. note i haven't used any nx for... what, 6-ish months? since around march i think, once i was done with my PA i quit NX.

DR reflects semi-fixed damage back at you, empress reflects 50k (give or take a few hundred points) PB is 30k, mikhail is 25k, etc etc.

go try it at balrog, reflect hits you for 3k or 7k? can't remember which. otherwise look at the values in the database or maplearchive

The only purpose I would see it being beneficial for Kaiser is "multiple person" Empress runs.
In case someone hits DR by mistake, you can at least survive a hit if you have 50k+ HP, but I highly doubt it's even worth spending that kind of money just to survive one boss's DR.
