All those years of people saying Digimon ripped off Pokemon, now this.

Yeah, the whole "humans merging with Digimon" thing that cropped up during the third series really killed Digimon for me, and I haven't watched it since.

In all seriousness, you all overreact over a spinoff series even though Pokemon has been full of spinoff crap since the 90s. It's always been the main series and a bunch of random pomegranate on the side.

I remember this. I think some guy claimed it was supposed to be a more 'serious' take on the franchise compared to the already ongoing manga series.

So it's kinda like a power rangers/Shaman king with pokemon. Cool.

I don't see the problem with this. It's essentially Conquest mixed with Mystery Dungeon as far as the characters are concerned. You all need to keep an open mind.
