Finishing Homecoming Shorts
#1
Since today is the last day of the Homecoming Event, I decided to spend my coins on the Shorts and dumping Chaos Scrolls on them.

Was not expecting this on the very first pair though,

Should I play it safe and just finish the rest of the slots with the 25%'s? On that note, any idea if they count as Special Scrolls or not? I've seen the list of said scrolls that's somewhere on this site, but no idea if these count. Monocle

Use 25%s and WS.

Or spend the coins on doing the same thing on a top, since it's sooooo much harder getting (attack on) a top for most classes.

Snazy pants, but I love my Stirge Pants too much to swap for a bit of attack.

Definitely use 25%s and WS/CS to finish. You get 2att each which is way better than average chaosing. If you really feel like living on the edge, try chaosing a top as Takebacker suggested.

I used 20 of the 25% scrolls with level 85 dilligence. Came out with 6 working (+4 on one top though Big Grin)... Not a very useful sample size, but I'm leaning towards not "special".

Since they add fixed stats, they shouldn't be special.

Locked Wrote:Special Scrolls are scrolls that don't follow the standard format of regular scrolling. Such a clean slates, etc. Standard scrolling is adding stats to an item via +5, +3, etc. The other thing that I would think classifies as a "special scroll" would be those that aren't in kMS.

Ah, I remember reading that post of his somewhere before.

It's just that 50%'s fall under the Special Scroll category and those add fix stats, so they are an exception to that general rule.

Anyway, I just stockpiled up about 40-50ish? of the Armor Attacks and bought the Top too. Now I just need White Scrolls. Swell.

I don't believe they were in KMS, so Locked's rule still holds :>
