The boy who cried rat

There's a rat in my house and the only one who can see it is me. I sleepy at 1-2am and that's when go use the bathroom and leave my room for other stuff. That's also the time the rat comes out, while everyone else is asleep. I told my parents but they've never seen it and they're tired of putting out the traps and not catching anything.

Also, yeah, rats sucks balls. I've never had rats though, except in Veitnam. Now in America, I see mice! I set a trap in my basement once, and the next day, the trap caught it. The mouse was a white mouse with brown spots, looked really cute. Only thing was that it's neck was broken because the mousetrap was so strong it cracked it's neck, and that it squeezed the blood to it's eyeballs. I could see it's eyes all HUGE and crap, it was pretty disgusting.

Rats are nasty little buggers though, I remember running around my house back then carrying a pole and swinging it around trying to beat the pomegranate out a rat... Fun stuff, rat-blood all over the place!

Rats are too clever for just laying out traps and bait.

If you can, identify the paths it normally takes, then set the trap nearby, being careful not to leave any of your scent and stuff.

Oh man oh man oh man. My father gave my mother a rat with a crushed head for Valentine's day. It was running around our garage eating everything, and totally demolished a closet of my mom's shoes. It also pooped everywhere and ate cardboard, plastic, etc. We laid out sticky traps, and the rat got caught in it. But it gnawed off its leg to get away. wtp lol? Then I confronted it, and managed to hit its tail with one of the sticky traps. But it still got away. >:[ Then we set out one of those jaw trap things with peanut butter in it. Its head got crushed. Victory is sweet.

Mice are so cool. they're tiny and cute, whereas rats are giant and mean

We had a mice problem over the Summer. It was terrible. My dad found mice poop under the fridge after he moved it to repair it. For the next 3 days following that one, I felt like it was WWIII. We had to look up EVERYTHING. The house was all upside down due to the checking and clean up.

Apprently, mice are attracted to stinky food. Mouse trap and chinese sausage ftw. Funny that the first times, they managed to get the food and run away without the trap being activated.
