Got bored. Tried to solo Balrog. Killed by damage reflect.

Your damage range gets nerfed in Balrog, you know. My level 98 Demon Slayer has the same range as my level 14x one inside Balrog.

Everyone's range isn't the same in Balrog though. Potentials are not disabled, so ranges can still vary by a lot, not to mention boss damage.

Some tips wouldn't hurt, yeah. This was my first time actually beating it and...my strategy was pretty much nothing but spam the attack key until I saw it doing damage reflect/zombify animation.

4th job lash isn't nerfed down to second job in balrog, either. It's glitched. So there's a huge difference between a 3rd job slayer and a 4th job slayer at balrog. At least, last time me and my girlfriend went it was still broken.

I noticed that certain passive skills work inside Balrog map, which is pretty useful. I don't think it's about the damage he did, but rather how he killed it, since there's a way to kill Balrog faster on a DS.

Yes, the lack of huge groups needed to do boss runs has taken away a lot of the fun in the game We may not get drops every time, but aside from a grumpy puss every now and then, we do have fun, and isn't that what we should be trying to do

The attacking through DR thing last run was probably the funnest 5 seconds of a boss battle i have experienced in my entire time playing.

That SS doesn't even do these deaths justice. You haven't empressed until you see 13 tombstones fall at the same time because no one realized crash wasn't on. It was like Cygnus getting summoned at Henesys.
