Cygnus are getting hypers
#1
So basically, after the patch today was added nexon posted the update notes as always.

and.........in the the section that was talking about adventurer hypers this was there.

캐논슈터, 시그너스, 레지스탕스의 경우 추후 업데이트될 예정입니다

Which basically states, Cygnus will be getting their hypers.

http://maplestory.nexon.com/board/167772168/2687

Go straight to the bottom with the pic of the instructors. Under it is "TIP" thats where it states it if you don't believe me.

Well thoughts guys?

Pointless and useless if their level cap isn't going higher. >:/

It would be handy for killing Cygnus Ark but otherwise pointless.

That's like taking your umbrella in the shower. The hell is the point of that?

I have a theory.

What if they get to be able to level up, BUT no new AP, SP, or skills are provided?

Just Hyper skills from level 120, for example.

So...what about the Resistance?

...good for them if they want to do more work for no point.

The text actually says resistance, cygnus, and cannonshooter will be getting their hypers a later date. I just thought the only important (or surprising) part would be the cygnus.

Alright, good to know NK didn't forget about them.

Pfft that is stupid. Nexon needs to either work on the KoC or instead release the instructors. Doing both is stupid as f'uck.

my expectations are for them to just copypasta the adventurer counterpart hyperskills and nerf them/give them at 120 or something along those lines.
I suppose that would explain why bowmasters got a wind-based skill...?

the only other way they could possibly do it is by raising all CKs to 200, but that means more work for Nexon and dawn warriors would still be pointless.

the longer the wait, the better it better become when it arrives.

Up to 200 with the stats and base skills of a level 120 character? That trade wouldn't be appealing enough to keep on with 'em in my opinion.

Definitely interested in how they'll implement that. I reckon they'll have to increase their level cap, the whole "CKs are adventurers lite and nothing but attack mules" thing really isn't sustainable in the current state of the game. Cygnus Knights, the new OP classes maybe?

I guess my Blaze Wizard can live for now.

I'm okay with this, cygnus knights were supposed to be an introduction to the game (that's why they almost are complete copies of their adventurers counterparts). With this you could check the hyper skills of those classes before getting to lvl 200 and you can decide which class to play from it.

All I can say is...

What the duece? It makes no sense at all for them to make hyper skills for cygnus knights unless they TOTALLY revamp them. I mean complete overhaul... and even then what about Mikhail / Dawn Warriors? lol...I guess all logic for story line got thrown out of the window.. Eh just so disappointed they can do sooo much better / more! Frown

Nexon really needs to realize Cygnus Knight's time in game is over. Why playing an "introduction" job when the lastest released ones are way more powerful, way more original and way easier?

Scrap Cygnus Knights and give us Cygnus Instructors... seriously. With no lasers, no copied skills and original elements to set them apart.

Still hoping for one of the Demon Slayer's hyper skills to give us the giant wings from the Dark Meta animation.

They'll probably introduce them like how they did with Nova characters.
The other Cygnus Instructors will probably have a more in-depth story behind their origins.

Hopefully this will make people play Cygnus more for whatever reason?
