UGH Drayden is a cu'ntface when I'm trying NOT to use a Haxorus, because he's a crutch and everyone uses it, but Lapras is my only Ice-user, and I just ugh Dragon types 8 levels higher than my team.

Replaced my Tornadus with a Lilligant, because that pokemon seems awesome and I haven't used a good grass type in ages.

I've got a different type coverage than I do in other games. I've got a water type, a bug/steel type, a fire type, a grass type, a flying/psychic type and an electric type.

That's pretty good type coverage with no overlap, i'm quite happy. I have some dark type moves in there, and Genesect is gonna get the Freeze Drive to help me deal with Dragons.

I played on my little bro's Pokemon White 2. I did most of the gyms since he asked me to.
Today I finally beat Champion Iris after so many tries. Beat her with this team:

Lv. 52 Serperior
Lv. 56 Swanna
Lv. 58 Cobalion
Lv. 63 Zoroark
Lv. 46 Virizion
Lv. 45 Terrakion

The battle was frustrating and is it just me or is Pokemon Black and White 2 much harder compared to the other games? I like it though, makes it more of a challenge.

By fighting every trainer I've come across so far (still missing a few), I'm about Lv56, before fighting the E4. I'm using about as many items as I did in W1, though the fights do feel slightly harder, maybe because the levels go a bit higher this time. Looking forward to the post-E4 content, with Black Tower / White Tree Hollow going up to 80 (85 with challenge mode), and so many other things to do. I'm planning to beat the place with my current team too.

Also, does anyone else get a lot of Join Avenue customer "chains" too? Today one person went to 7 stores in a row and added 275 points to my Avenue at the end, which is awesome.

Finished it last night with everyone in the 60s.

Odd thing I've noticed: Ever since 3rd gen, I've had to finish the Champ off with my starter. Not tradition or anything, its just that every time my other pokes are dead or near-dead aside from my starter. Kinda neat finishing the game with your first.

[COLOR="#0000FF"]Terrakion and Virizon low leveled, but cobalion leveled? sadface. The other two are the coolest. My team at the beginning of route 23 (not even at victory road, gonna be so over leveled ^^)

Tbh I think my hardest battle will be against the fighting leader, I have 2 steel types, and no flying. My flygon knows fly, and my lucario knows psychic, but it's still gonna be hard. Leavanny is a beast and COULD KICK SAWSBUCK'S ASS ANYDAY

Sounds good. My dad hasn't cashed my check yet so I'm sitting on $20, need another $20-ish to get the game. I may have to wait until after my birthday when I open my own bank account to cash the check so I'm probably gonna end up waiting till this weekend. My mom is really pushing for me to cash this check on my own after my birthday and is trying to keep my dad from doing so himself.

As for the game, it looks like I will have lots of fun deciding on a team to use as a lot of Pokemon I like seem to appear in the first routes, and I have no clue what appears later.

Can anyone who's been able to have a good look at the post game compare the amount of content to HGSS? From Serebii and other sites it seems fairly even, with both having challenges that go into the 80s, and plenty of side things to do (PWT, Pokéstar Studios, etc.), but I'd like to hear other peoples thoughts on it.

PWT is a HUGE commitment once you get at it. There are so many medals associated with it and so many modes. I would say it rivals with the Pokeathlon (if you unlocked enough of it, you see how much there is to do there).

I thought you'd compare it to battle factory, since dif modes like rentals, but I haven't done it and all I know about it is that you can battle leaders from all regions, the champs, and the rentals, all I remember.

Join Avenue is surprisingly addicting.

I just got done with that part as well. All of my pokemon are 35-40 compared to his level 25 dudes. I murdered that tournament. LOL

I am not going to bother grinding these Pokemon that take too long to level up until further.

Current Team; Fraxure, Blaziken, Crobat, Zoroark, Servine, and Marowak

Currently at Route 12 with no new Pokemon.

Lapras eludes me to many times due to it's own perish song killing itself before I can catch it T_T

I finally finished White Treehollow (Black Tower in Pokemon Black 2). That area took me hours to get to the last trainer and obtain my precious reward.
Definitely a good place post-E4 content!
