If I remember right, KMS got their max character limit to 18 and JMS got it to 24. Here's hoping if we do get those JMS updates, they'll make our max character limit to 24.

It's still a bit sketchy to me because warriors and mages aren't really my thing.
You guys should already know by now that whenever GMS takes content from JMS, they also try to twist bits of it to milk money out of it, even if they were originally non-NX. It's been like that with flying mounts, familiars, etc. Those came with their fair share of glitches and headaches. I bet they'll at least make some of their books only obtainable from the CS, calling that now.

Anyway, what are their character card effects and do they belong to a specific race?

Something GMS will obviously do: Make Maple Warrior require a mastery book.

Thorr Wrote:Hyper skills are at the END of tempest. Tempest will BEGIN in december.

I predict the following patch cycle -

Oct 24 - Masquerade
Nov 14 - Resistance Revamp/Chaos PB (indicated by the events that all end on Nov 13)

Tempest Cycle
Dec 12 - Prelude
Dec 19 - Luminous
Jan 8 - Kaiser with Nova/Pantheon
Jan 22- Angelic Burster
Feb 5 - Magnus
Feb 12 - Hyper Skills

Reasoning - Most the intervals I used are the same intervals used in KMS. I would suspect there may be some combining of updates in GMS, though. For instance, Magnus was a separate small update in KMS. I see it being combined with either AB or Hyper skills. We may also get the Nova/Pantheon update in combination with Kaiser instead of separate. They want to start Tempest in December, so I see the Prelude early on with the first major part of Tempest (the Luminous update) happening a week before Christmas. They will have time to iron out any major bugs before the holidays. That way they can basically take off for the week between Xmas and New year's and then have another week to prepare for the Kaiser release. I don't think they will pull a Chaos on us and release it all at once, but they may pull a Legends on us and give us one big patch with all the data and then unlock stuff on specific dates. After all, we already have the start of the Luminous data and that class is easily 3 updates away.

EDIT - Timeline adjusted to reflect actual KMS intervals. The 6 parts of Tempest were released on the following dates -
Prelude Jul 4,
Luminous Jul 12,
Kaiser/Nova Jul 26,
angelic Burster Aug 9,
Magnus Aug 15,
Hyper Skills I Aug 23
mmm... They said that Luminous comes in Dec... so expect Prelude to come in late November... GMS wants to show us the 3 most broken classes in the same month....

GMS will do the 24 slot one... they wants more money lol... and how about a 3rd Card Deck?

And finally I want to see what KMS will show us this winter.... there is a lot of mistery around there....

Prelude only lasted a week in KMS. It was just long enough for people to fix their existing characters for use in the new job system. They can do prelude anywhere from Nov 26 through Dec 14 in order to keep Luminous in December (assuming they want Luminous released before Christmas.)

My timeline prediction accounts for holiday weeks. (Thanksgiving Nov 19-23 and Christmas thru New Year's Dec 24-Jan4) They won't release anything during those weeks because they will not want to set themselves up for failure when all the employees will be on vacation. What I didn;t initially account for was that KMS only had 2 weeks between Resistance revamp and Prelude. I have 4 weeks in my timeline. as I said in posts above, I could see prelude arriving in the last week of Nov.

Honestly, these updates just give me more reasons to not come back to the game. Even though I play JMS and not GMS, JMS will get these eventually and all of them just make the divide between NX-Whores and Non-NX-Whores so much larger that it makes me wonder why people are so excited for this crap when they complain about this problem all the time.

I think he means the Maple Warrior clone that Kanna and Hayato get, which is default at Level 30 with no skill book required at all.

There's a few of skills like that for both Kanna and Hayato. Their main attack upgrades, Maple Warrior, and Hero's Will are all auto-max-able with no skill or mastery books required.

Now if only they would do that for every other skill in the game and just rid the mastery book system entirely.

Or introduce quests that don't require drops to unlock skills/Upgrade them.
Mastery book system would work much better if you have a defined goal, instead of luck.

Not even just one set of luck, but three, with the SMB now. 1) Get a SMB. 2) Get the book you actually need. 3) Have it actually succeed.
Just makes the entire system even more ridiculous.

I second this idea. It's effective and would save time and hassle of having to save up money just for a certain skill book.

The system itself is horrible. Idk what exactly 50% stands for when I use'd Dual Wield Mastery Book 9 times on my dual blade. Its more random than 50%. Dislike the system so much.

I do agree, but s'hit at this point we could use all the meso sinks we can get. I'd rather they sell them from a NPC for reduced prices.

MariaColette Wrote:Why are people commenting on Hayato with Kanna when there was only mention of the latter?

I don't doubt that it'll be released at all but the mention of Kanna does not mean that Hayato's coming with it unless confirmed otherwise.

I do like this, though.

It'd be really stupid for Nexon to release only one out of the two classes.

Should I remind you about the Thief and Pirate revamp where they released one before the other and not both at once? :I

Didn't say they weren't both being released at all, I'm saying they're probably not being released at (or near) the same time.

Especially when you consider Nexon's money making strategy that more classes = more revenue.

It's like this, if they can make money off of it, they will release the classes. They're pretty hyped up as is over here for Nexon do to this, but that also won't stop GMS from making more tweaks to the classes or the systems they come with to milk out as much money as possible from them. Expect their books (including Maple Warrior) and items that would be originally free in JMS to be in the CS.
