When I woke up this morning to see the results, man, that was surprising.

And Azubu Frost will only receive a slap in the wrist with a $30k fine. So Riot says that cheating is okay now because they can go "I CAN SAVE SOME MY PRIZE MONIES BACK".

It's donated to charity.

Bet $30k is the amount of dollars Riot lost refunding the tickets.

It's written in the rules that a major cheating violation will be 20% of the current winnings. 150k * 20% = 30k

Prices for finals tickets were 37 and 67 USD.

They were actually more than that. Iirc the base price was more than advertised + there was a sales tax + USC costs people $3 to print the tickets (wasn't really surprised by this having gone to USC, they charge and overcharge for a lot...)

Happy for the people who got in the finals. It'll be really interesting and probably go to game 4 or 5. I just wish the whole tsm/frost thing would die already. The people who keep posting about it are being idiots. Riot made the correct call and they've done a really good job for this whole tournament. By actually following their rules and not being biased and standing up to the large idiotic fanbase/community proves they can be a strong company and make the tough decisions.

I totally thought CLG was gonna take the last game against Azubu when Azubu kept making stupid mistakes at the 30min mark. In the end, their team was just too tanky and Singed too stronk
