Pokémon Black and White 2

Got my game yesterdayyy. Haven't played it much, because I wanted to play Resident Evil 6 while I had the chance.

I'm at the ranch at the moment looking for the Herdier. Team consists of: Oshawatt, Mareep, Genesect, Sigilyph (which I got from Dream Radar and is fucking boss.)
Gonna be different and not get a Lucario. because bleh.

Loving the diversity of pokemon you can get at the start, i'm actually really tempted to box my starter. D:

Just beat Black 2! I had a party that ended up like this:

Samurott (Lv. 56)
Swanna (Lv. 56)
Lapras (Lv. 54)
Starmie (Lv. 53)
Vaporeon (Lv. 54; Toxic too good)
Jellicent (Lv. 54)

Got a nice Water-type Champ medal for the effort!

Took forever, but I caught a Super Luck Absol as my 6th team member. Gave it a Focus Lens and it currently has Swords Dance/Night Slash/Shadow Claw/Slash (going to replace Slash with Psycho Cut once it learns it).

Ikr. I picked oshawott cause I liked it the first game, and I wanted sewaddle, and thought you could get Ponyta early. Then I saw Psyduck and I was like.... @.@

How do hidden grottoes work?
And the difficulty is so ramped up, I had to try 6 times to beat Cheren ugh

i remember reading that hidden grottoes reset every 256 steps if they are empty, with a 5% chance to contain an item or a pokemon.
they usually have pokemon from the route, including seasonal pokes, with dream world abilities

i am having SO MUCH FUN with dragonite today, this moveset pineapples up the AI like you wouldn't BELIEVE.. challenge mode is on but i don't think that works on PWT/battle subway.
sometime, i actually plan to catch and evolve as many pokemon as i can, beat world leaders 9 more times for champion tournament, and fill up more medals

Compound Eyes Galvantula makes the 8th gym easy, even when underleveled. The only thing that survived Thunder so far was a Walrein.

Just got to Victory Road. I liked the boulder puzzle on the left side of Route 23 (which also has great music), but I loathe HMs even more than ever. Why exactly does my Absol need Cut to cut trees when it has so many similar moves that are better?

Apparently the Black Skyscraper / White Tree Hollow Pokémon also give experience, so the game goes up to Lv80 (without challenge mode). That's good enough for me.

EDIT: Be sure to put Magnemites in the GTS, asking for any other Magnemite in return. Some people in Japan came up with this idea of a "Magnemite Coil" (and Magnemites JP name is Coil) to get more people in their Join Avenue. It's been working pretty well for me so far, even with only depositing Magnemites (I got fed up with the ones I wanted to trade for being traded to others before I clicked trade).

...so that's the reason Magnemites are the #1 traded Pokemon in the GTS per stats page. I found it strange for some reason the first time I saw it. xd

i think it'll be best if you just put them for trade instead of looking since this seems so popular.

On Route 23. I wish I had gone with my buggy-wuggy team, because it feels too late to switch around everything now ;-;

Oh, that's a cool idea, I'ma do that, I want to level up my gym and cafe for the level up training and meals when I'm training my battlemons to level 100.

GTS is so hard to get pokemon you want I wish you can text T_T I need some pokemon that evolve through trade

Now that I got HM03 Surf, now I can catch more of the Pokemon!

So after 3 power sessions I finally managed to get to the League, I ahve to say that this is probably my favorite Victory road so far, they finally gave us a varied Victory Road instead of another cave.

Mawile's dream world aiblity makes her a beast in battles, same thing for Minccino. Everyone else is quite average, Lilligant has the privilege of being able to use petal dance as much as I want thanks to own tempo.

Also, does anyone know where you can transfer pokemon from D/P/Pt into BW2? I can't seem to find the building where you do so.

While I'm slogging through Victory Road I decided to read some more about the Black Tower / White Tree Hollow. You can't use items and the AI apparently likes to use cheap tactics a lot. At least you can outlevel things, which is probably what I'll be doing.

Game finally gets nice and challenging around Route 23, I'm looking forward to the E4 and the post game.
