Might be easier to do it bigger and resize it (dimensions that are multiples of 8 are the ones that work, like 400x400, 800x800).

Scaling would be a nightmare! Nearest Neighbor will scale without blurs, but will make it look jumbled. Bicubic will blur it but will be closer to the "original" in shape at least.

It won't necessarily go. Maybe someone will just spruce it up a bit.

I was just having a fun 30 minutes making pixel art that you specifically "banned" previously. I couldn't care less if it wasn't considered or whatnot. The grin was added because I knew you were going to fuss about it.

Now I'm not sure if there will be enough logos to actually lead into one being chosen. Hopefully this event will be more successful than the SP banner and MMOstatus one.
