Alilatias Wrote:Get Quackums damage only. Ulti cooldowns aren't linked. Fellow Priests tried to use this logic to lower the CD of Grand Sigil last month, but it was tested to not work at all.

For example:
- Use Heavenly Judgment (125 second CD), both ults get put on CD for 125 seconds.
- Use Grand Sigil (150 second CD), both ults get put on CD for 150 seconds, even though HJ's original CD is 125 seconds.

In a way, all the dual-ult system did CD-wise was to increase the CD of Heavenly Judgment instead.

Okay, thanks. Got a superb quackums damage. Gonna run a ton of abyss modes on my alch who I plan to cap next as she has 525 frags and I can exchange 1000 or so(?) for a chance at my last skill plate. Going for frost quacker -cd. If I can get that, I will be done with my skills finally. Gonna get to know ACL real well tomorrow.
So apparently, there will be another 2nd specialization class translation change for our version. For reference, here are the current confirmed changes:

- Moonlord -> Lunar Knight
- Saleana -> Pyromancer
- Elestra -> Ice Witch
- Majesty -> Chaos Mage
- Smasher -> War Mage

And just now, someone noticed a slight and very recent description change for the Scroll of Unlearning that reveals yet another change.

 Scroll of Unlearning description
- Artillery -> Warden

I'm not sure how to feel about this. 'Artillery Alilatias' would have sounded awesome, even if the class name was a bit silly. But Warden? They couldn't come up with a better name for a magic archer class?
I think the name changes were known for our version for some time.

They were in the client for a while already.
lunar knight huh, guess i can't helb being a knight of darkness.

man, i miss this game so.
Finally managed to complete the farm events for 2 characters, only 1 more to go. Biggrin

This was posted on the Dragon Nest Facebook last Friday.
Translated from Binary Code to text:
 Spoiler
Yeah, we've known for a while that it's definitely coming this month, but the question is on which week? There's a login event starting this week that more or less rules out the patch being within the next two weeks, leaving the week of the 22nd-26th as the earliest. However, the anniversary events were originally scheduled to end by the 17th next week.

I guess 50 cap got pushed back a week, just like the anniversary patch two weeks ago.
Binary in quote didn't match the picture (it's just the guy responding in binary on the FB page) so I did it myself (typing binary without a number pad is annoying Frown):

"Dragon Nest level 50 cap is coming this month"
Saying "this month" means its almost definitively not this week, but I'm not sure how the log in event would rule out next week though (especially since it ends next Thursday, which might be a patch day).
Ends next Thursday, meaning that Thursday is the last day, also meaning that the patch most likely won't be on that day and therefore not that week. Unless the patch is on Friday, which is when the rewards are supposed to start being distributed, but Nexon's Friday patches tend to be really disastorous.

Oh, the glitched event jelly issue has been fixed. Nexon resent them to us properly through the Dragon Vault if we got the event jellies during the anniversary. Also, they already sent out the extra storage/inventory slots from the farming event too.

EDIT: And the Golden Dragon Eggs are being extended to the 24th. Pretty much confirms patch on that day.
Well, looks like some of our 3rd specialization skills are going to have different localized names as well.

Shock of Relic -> Relic Reaction... Can't tell which one is worse. :/

I really like Finish Attack -> Coup de Grace though. And Shock Transition -> Inquisition.
Super Slop Cocktail...

STUPID NAME
Coup de Grace... Tongue

Most players won't even know how to pronounce that.

Yeah, on second thought I don't really like the change anymore. I'm already taking bets that 90% of the SM community won't even know how to spell it. They should have just called it Finisher instead.

Coup de Grace sounds like an amazing name. I might just make my SM into a Glad because of that skill name. Biggrin

It's probably going to be one of those things that players stick to the foreign/translated name of - like ''Hime'' in Maplestory.

Either that or you're going to just see ''coup'' all over the place and none of the rest of it.
:O

Ahahaha. Holy crap. You guys, kDN got this update last month. And we are getting it with 50 cap.

http://dragonnest.nexon.net/news/news/00...ombination

In short, all class-specific sparks are being combined into one. Same for lustre.

What Nexon declined to mention is that when every other version got this update, it also resulted in the extractor changing - it no longer gives out comet dust/sun powder, geodes could no longer be purchased from the blacksmith, and existing geodes stopped working. (The extractor now instead gives fragments that can be NPCed for gold, or the new Althium lustre.)

I think I now know why our 50 cap was so delayed - it's because kDN just had to go out and do all of these massive revamps, and Nexon wouldn't allow us to experience 50 cap until most of these revamps were done.

Overall though I'm pretty pleased with how Nexon NA handles Dragon Nest updates.
Coming back to DN since the level cap is coming up rather quickly. So my question is. As a Paladin is there a way to raise my hp up? In a affordable sense that is..

Not gonna lie as a lv 40 Paladin I only have 34k HP. Frown
Try enhancing level 40 rares to +10 with Average Onyx. A stack of Average Onyx is typically 15g now, and each piece of armor fluctuates between 1g-10g. That should boost you up to 45k HP, I'd think.

Life-giving proc isn't nearly as broken as it used to be, to the point where many now call it useless (only about 1% total HP regen compared to like 6% before if you were to craft all armor life-giving, and bosses hit like 2x harder now thanks to the way the new crit system works, making phys and magic defense matter just as much as, if not even more than crit resist does).

You could try farming Average Onyx yourself (typically 10-20 per run), but you'd only be able to have 4 solo runs of Master mode a day. About three or four months ago, Nexon made it that, in our version, if you run out of PWR, drop rates are reduced to 20% of what they originally were. Players not at the level cap will only use like 25-30 PWR per run, but PWR rates go back to the usual solo 250 Master/300 Abyss once you reach 40 (and reduced back down until you hit 50 soon).

Update your crests. Use either 24/32 epic Life-giving and Health crests or 40 rares. 40 epics would be preferred, but they may be costly compared to 24/32 epics since the lower leveled ones can be unbound using Crude Approval Stamps. (So can skill plates for skills that you learn at level 32 and below. I'm hoping that with 50 cap, our Crude Approval Stamps will go up to level 40 gear and plates. I've heard it was like that in other versions.)

You can try getting Vital accessories as well. Aim for two-statted Vital Silver earrings and necklaces, although they could be costly if they're pre-sparked. Use Fatal Silver Rings too, since they're one of the few rings with Vitality, and the 1k or so crit boost you get from them is pretty awesome too.

Also, we had a major skill revamp about a month and a half ago. We got T4. At 40 cap.
