PVP gets removed again with tempest/luminous, right?

It's essentially a weaker variation of Singapore. You gotta face off against Scarlion/Targa like the original, and you get a medal out of it, at the cost of weaker version of the boss hats.

The development is done in Korea so it is typical to say that it takes KMS a bit longer than GMS in releasing updates. There is no point for GMS to release the Champions update in separate patches (Warrior, Magician & Archer) like KMS did. The reason why Korea released their version of Champions in separate patches is because they were still developing and changing the stuff. .

Knowing GMS, they will have an Evolution update with Hyper Skills and the like.

Not to mention, for GMS to keep with the update pattern, they would need to combine things. GMS had 5 months from around Phantom's release to release all of Justice up to Tempest, while KMS had 7 months to develop all of the stuff. The other Asian versions have less time or an equal amount of time (since we are close in sync with CMS and TMS). EMS and MSEA must have another language besides English since we're so ahead of them.

Big chance that Tempest in GMS will get all the Hyper Skills except Pirates in one update.

The point of Grand Battle is to recruit new Maplers and train them to fight against the Black Magician or in this case ''Mr. World Domination''. Anyway PvP in MapleStory sucks, so be glad it's going away.
And Tempest is coming in December for GMS. It was said on one of the Maple World WORLD videos I believe. So before Tempest, you're getting other content such as Fantastic Theme Park.
