to be fair, california is a pretty liberal state outside of irvine(whichever county that is), which is one of the few republican heavy areas of california.

This debate was awful. Both parties didn't even let the moderator moderate LOL Obama didn't do too much improvement on his position and pointed fingers at Romeny and Romeny basically did the same thing plus big bird. And don't even get my started on the youtube comments- people weren't even paying attention to the policy and were just tweeting about how X candidate is better cause he's awesome or how X's face looks stupid.

Plus their smiles were pretty accurately represented by these maple cartoons.
