Questions if you guys can answer?
Is it possible my computer will be able to handle Maplestory,Dragon Nest, and Photoshop,if not, just Maplestory and Dragon Nest?
What's the level cap for Dragon Nest?
What would be the best easy and fun job for a beginner? Priest or Warrior?
Second, how come the DN section is so quiet? Someone should make a share your stats/gear thread or something.
Will there be more jobs coming out in the future?

1) At the same time? Depends on your computer I guess.
2) Level cap is 40, with an increase to 50 soon.
3) Warrior is much faster and stronger. Clerics are very sluggish till higher levels.
4) This is a Maple forum, so anything that isn't Maple-related isn't going to be as popular here.
5) Level 50 cap gives us a new advancement with more skills/upgrades. A new class will be added at some point called Kali.

I suggest one of the two Warrior classes, even though I main a Priest. In this game, Warriors are actually one of the most mobile classes, and while they're not known for having high DPS (that goes to every female class ever), they have a fair amount of health, and have a much easier time stringing combos together and interrupting enemy attacks. At level 15, a Warrior can either become a Mercenary (axe/hammer user, slower but stronger with various buff and debuff skills, in a game where all stat debuffs work on everything) or a Swordsman (greatsword user, very fast and has ranged/counter skills, but not that strong in comparison).
If you decide to make a Priest instead, I must warn you, Priests of Dragon Nest are NOTHING like in MapleStory. Since Priests are an advanced class of the Cleric (the other being the Paladin), Priests in this game are actually one of the tankiest classes. You're probably scratching your head and thinking, 'What?'
Thing is, Priests may be very tanky, but we have the least mobility out of every class, coupled with some of the longest attacking animations. Healing skills in this game have a cooldown of about 50 seconds - 1 minute as well, as this is a game that emphasizes dodging or outright tanking attacks with your defensive skills if you can't dodge them. However, we can inflict extremely high burst damage through our lightning spells, summon relics with a wide variety of effects, and have incredibly useful party buffs that other classes can't reliably replicate (and if they do, well, every buff in this game stacks).
Either way, leveling in this game is so easy now that you can easily reach Level 40 within a week. Don't try to grind, as grinding is actually slower now (not to mention a lot more tedious). Just do all the quests you can.

Right now, it's just a really pitiful shell with durability so low that in most situations where the skill would actually be helpful, it'd be wiped out with a single attack. Invincibility might be broken for PvP, but I guess they could keep the current durability system there.
I think a good fix would be make it sort of like block. When you use Guardian Force you use up all your bubbles to give everyone in the party 1(or 2) blocks per bubble.
About the Old Maury's Harvest Challenge, I'll be done with my Pally today and not sure if I should do it on my other characters, Merc and SM. Any ideas on what I should do?

Cooking and farming can be done rather quickly. You just need to cook the basic recipe like 5 times in order to reach Lv. 2 cooking. (The only hard part there is getting the salty broth, but you could always buy them... Or try to make them, but gathering up the fish will be a pain, as all the fish required are split up across the four fishing holes.)
As for farming, you just need to plant two Golden Apple Seeds. That will bring you up to Lv. 7. (Note: just plant, they don't have to live, although I'd advise raising them for the full day regardless, as I imagine the golden apples would be useful once the recipes allowing you to use them are released.)
The only hard part is the fishing. I think it takes anywhere from 15-20 hours to reach Level 2 fishing on average, depending on your overall luck. (16 failed attempts = 1 successful attempt in terms of EXP.) You could always leave your computer on overnight, although you should have like 800+ worms in your inventory before going to sleep if you plan to do so.

I decided to do it on my Merc. Getting cooking to lvl 2 was easy, I had 60-70 of each of the 5 fish to make salty broths that I gathered while fishing on my Paladin. I only need to do fishing and I'm done.
Is doing a class change worth it?

Class... Change?
If you're talking about those class change scrolls in other versions, it only changes your 2nd specialization (as in, Guardian to Crusader, not Paladin to Priest).

Oh, did not know that. Can it turn a Barbarian into a Moon Lord/Gladiator or any 2nd specialization? Or does it only turn it into a Destroyer?

Only Destroyer.
I think the logic behind it is that the developers would rather have people make completely new characters if you want to play a class from a completely different 1st specialization branch, rather than doing complete class changes. Considering the way this game's inventory system works (every character has their own seperate inventory, storage, and NX, the only thing really shared is their presence on the same account and later accumulated total level), it'd probably be more profitable for them.
Class change scroll is like what, $10 in other versions?

Alilatias; Guess I'll stick to my SM since I can't turn my Merc into one.
It feels so lonely not having a guild. I left mine because I'm the only one that was ever on.

I'd invite you into mine, but the others say we have too many SMs as it is, and we're 9 invites away from reaching max capacity. I may be guild leader of Salvation for now, but it's agreed to be temporary.
EDIT: Wait, turns out I'm wrong about the class change scroll. You CAN change from a Mercenary 2nd specialization (Destroyer and Barbarian) to a Swordsman 2nd specialization (Gladiator and Moonlord). Although I'm not sure if you'd be able to do this immediately after 50 cap is released, because as far as I know, DN SEA doesn't have it yet and they've had 50 cap for a month now.
It's just that for a brief period of time in kDN and cDN, people were not allowed to do that with Academics (as their Engineer classes and Alchemist classes were released at seperate dates, so switching from an Engineer class to an Alchemist class was restricted for a while after the Alchemist was released).
EDIT2: Oh, that's right. I already have your pally on my friends list. I'll talk to you the next time I get on, in about an hour or two.

If y'all have room for an Engineer, I'm interested. No fun just logging in to check MP and doing nests with randoms. Had to carry 2 parties through Apoc which is not fun when you die 3 times to apoc itself
Today was a good day for nests though. Got an apoc hairband from a gold chest after one run, got a superb unyeilding plate that crafted with an agi line, got a Superb Chemical Warfare debuff duration plate with the gold from the apoc hairband, and made up for it with an equine badge. Fun stuff
Also did my first two Furious Mezz runs and got an epic wellspring and a pair of gerrant crests that will just sit in storage for the rest of eternity.
And lastly, I got my apoc gear all to +6, used the free jellies from yesterday on my cannon and +8'd it, bought a spiral for my powerglove and got it to +7. Phys is now about 2900 in dungeons, crit is about 7400, and my HP is at 41.5k. Just need to revive my pet now.

So recently, I've noticed that my friends tend to disapprove of whatever I play. Whenever I go on my Priest (going Inq build) to boss, they tell me "why you have little hp" (33k) or "why you so weak". Same for my recently made Swordsman (going pve glad build). I'm not sure if there's a certain area in which you are considered average.
Does anyone know ways to improve gear and such? I'm not that rich so I've been living off +6 Lv 40 Rare gear and weps +10 and merching off Average Onyxs.

Since we've had 40 cap for so long, I'd say the average player at least has +9/10 Rare gear of all kinds. There's a substantial boost in HP from +6 to +10, probably about +15k HP increase for a Priest. On top of that, resparking all of your armor for +Max HP% helps tremendously, even better if +Vitality% comes along with it. In my experience, I'd say you only need about 300 Average Onyx to enhance all of your armor that high.
Other than that, you can get the following if you don't have them already:
- Life-giving plate (40 rare, or get a 24/32 epic from Minotaur or Cerberus nest, 40 epic would be best but plate drop rates in Apoc and Manti nest are so bad now)
- Health plate
- Mystical and Wise plates for your Priest
- Destructive, Brutal, and Windswept plates for your Swordsman (agility does increase physical attack, slightly)
- Two-statted Vital Silver earrings and necklaces with second stat Intellect or Brutal/Windswept, or look for two-statted Wise or Brutal Silver earrings and necklace with the second stat being Vitality
Right now, it's not quite as important for a support Priest to have as much magic attack as possible. The base healing power of Aura of Healing and Healing Relic were boosted tremendously that Priests can now afford to replace their Wise earrings and necklaces for Vitality without losing a significant amount of healing power.

Hmmm, anyone got a suggestion for my ulti skill plate? I'm looking into either Bullet Barrage -CD or The Quackums +Damage (Superb). Assuming ulti cooldowns are linked, I was thinking get bullet barrage to lower the CD on The Quackums for more spammage, but because I only use The Quackums I was considering getting +Damage. I'm pretty sure I can (barely) afford either one right now, but it's either get all of my crests finished or start on armor geodes.

The amount of lag/dcing in DN is getting crazy, It's a pain lvling fishing right now. I hope I can manage to get lvl 2 fishing on my Merc and SM before the event ends.

Get Quackums damage only. Ulti cooldowns aren't linked. Fellow Priests tried to use this logic to lower the CD of Grand Sigil last month, but it was tested to not work at all.
For example:
- Use Heavenly Judgment (125 second CD), both ults get put on CD for 125 seconds.
- Use Grand Sigil (150 second CD), both ults get put on CD for 150 seconds, even though HJ's original CD is 125 seconds.
In a way, all the dual-ult system did CD-wise was to increase the CD of Heavenly Judgment instead.
