Since Kirito has enough knowledge of the programming of the GM console to copy/paste Yui's AI program to an item, why the hell didn't he just end the game? There wouldn't be anything Kayaba could do about it once they had their helmets off, and it's not like he would monitor the console 24 hours a day when nobody else can access it, anyway.

There wouldn't be anything Kayaba could do about it once they had their helmets off, and it's not like he would monitor the console 24 hours a day when nobody else can access it, anyway.

How much of the story do you know? I would assume GM access wouldn't have permissions to a scale that large, and item creation is within the limits of what a GM could do. Also, keep in mind the all powerful Cardinal, and how it would auto-balance/ban anything like Kirito hacking some god tier item or skill that makes no sense, whereas an object holding an AI serves no issue towards character performance. In the end, Kayaba has complete control of the game, and he's the only one who decides when it ends.

Oda Nobuna no Yabou 12: dat tsundere. Nene, Hanbei, Goemon HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG Gonna miss this show. Looking forward to a second season though, seems like it was well received and the LN is still in progress.

Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse 13: dat terrible tsundere. Made me cringe, and I enjoy tsundere. This all seems to sloppily pasted together. Especially the flashback at the beginning of this episode.

Rinne no Lagrange 24: Not sure what to think about the guy turning into a kid. Pretty good ending overall for the show, but the pace of the series was weird.

Tari tari 13: The principal falling was embarrassing to watch. As was the scene when they were singing and the guys were waving badminton rackets in the background. There's something very unsatisfying about the ending, especially regarding Sawa (and Taichi for that matter). I think they shipped it way too much to leave it like that... To top it all off, they played music over their conversation... Also, all that choreography she prepared, and they hardly showed any of it... I wanted to see that back flip!
Maybe we'll see an OVA in the future.

More or less what Joe said. Kirito mentions that he's specifically using Yui's permission to access the console. When cardinal removes Yui's permission, he gets kicked off. Given that Yui is just in charge of the character's mental health, it's doubtful she'd be given the permissions required to end the game.

It's an important character development scene for both of them, as it shows how Kirito values an NPC/AI along with the boss battle planning scene a few episodes back where he didn't want to use them as bait, whereas most people would consider them objects and not care, as well as the realism of the experiences they hold in a virtual world.

Oh yeah, definitely don't disagree on the motives. He probably never even considered ending the game using the console since Yui's life was on the line... so to speak. The LN and anime leave us with different feelings about the GM console. The LN tells us that the console that Yui opened had root authorization. This authorization was cut off by cardinal. Whereas the anime makes it feel as if Yui was logged in to the console and had certain permissions which could have a limited scope in terms of system management based on her necessary functions.

I saw it that way as well, her session on the console just hadn't expired yet.
I guess it makes sense that he did that instead of doing the more logical thing and trying to end the game, since he wasn't really thinking clearly at that point. And I thought at least Cardinal had the permission to end the game, wouldn't that be the only way Kayaba could posthumously end the game after losing to Kirito?

I'm not complaining that he saved Yui, I can't wait for Yui-bot in real life for more Kanae Itou....if the series makes it that far.

I've been taking a Guilty Crown approach to the show for the last month or two. Just pull out my popcorn and enjoy the ride- no matter how absurd, unbelievable, or minimally thought-out. It's been great.

RIGHT? I was pretty mad about that. She didn't get one, meanwhile useless tsundere #1349284792347 gets a ton of airtime. Miyabi > Mana=Konoe=Mei > Yuzurina > Ikusu > background females > background males > animals that may have appeared > inanimate objects > Rinka.

Did u noticed that the cellphone voice sound suspiciously close to ogura yui? That was a pretty huge hint that yuzurina is evil.

First half seemed rushed, however the ending was the biggest tease for me, considering this is one of the three fights I've been waiting for ever since I read the Light Novel a few months ago, and they cut it when it's getting good. I feel ripped off

pineapple YEAH. That settles it; Renton has had the greatest amount of progression in a positive direction of any character ever. He went from a bratty little papaya that couldn't even be assertive when someone stepped all over him, much less talk to the girl that he liked, into KING BADASS, WORLD SURFER, SMASHER OF FACES, TRAVELING THE SPAN OF THE UNIVERSE IN A GIANT ROBOT TO GET HIS peach BACK. He is now what I think Kamina would have been if he had been less erratic. I think the white hair and the dark glasses really suit him and add to the whole "TTGL protagonist" effect, too.

Sengoku Collection: Really, really loved this series. I hope there's a second season. With this and Mawaru Penguindrum, Brain's Base really won me over. I can't wait for to see how the 2 series they're making this season turn out.

Binbougami ga!: It was a little stale at the beginning, but it really grew on me. A second season would be pretty cool.

Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate: The romance bits were not good, but I really liked the election story.

Who is IMOUTO?: The mystery actually got solved at the end. That was the main reason I kept watching. Not bad.

Dog Days': Fun Times: The Animation. I hope there's a third season.

Campione!: It had some interesting fights, but the pacing was way too fast.

Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai.: The last couple episodes were great. I hope there's more.



There are still subs missing for some last episodes, but Fall already began!

Shin Sekai Yori 1: This looks very interesting. I like the art style and the animation was pretty cool.

By the way, I hope Crunchyroll picks up Magi, since it looks like it will be a long-running series.

I'm pretty excited about Kantoku getting his own animation too; I've always liked his artstyle.
