But as far I see.. this update screws Mercedes storyline...

I never mentioned anything about attack percentages in that calculation, only what happens when all hits are max damage, so attack percentages won't even matter. The chance of that extra 60 million damage on MF (we're talking about 2 regens in a row, 4% chance of happening) is slim to none and will occur rarely. Regardless, MF is a clear winner when it comes to it versus LS.

And where did you get those ridiculous numbers for DoT? I don't think DoT can ever reach even 5 mil damage per tick with a max range of 999k

Do tell, why wouldn't DoT reach those numbers? If you are assuming an F/P capable of reaching non-crit 10mil hits on meggido flame (700% per hit) AND the DoTs are 700% as well, even if it isn't affect by some of your passives (Someone mentioned something like that? I'm not too sure, amp maybe?) then I don't see why something like 7-8mil~ per tick isn't possible? In any case, it is a far cry from that 90-150mil you listed, because you are totally downplaying the DoT in that case.

How is Orchid a Bowman? Was there anything in the Mercedes storyline?

What? Have you ever seen Orca use any type of bow? Why would you think she's a bowman?

Tell me about it. I mean, in the one quest where you fight her, she's wielding some kind of staff/wand/cane thing and she's shooting out lasers and stuff. How does that make her an archer?

So I'm not super clear on the storyline yet, but the Evolving System does continue the storyline of Edelstein, the Black Wings, and the Black Master & Wing Master Su and Orca!

From what I understood, Gelimer found a way to unleash Su from his tube, but I guess it had a downside that he lost all his memories/was being controlled. This leads to Su defeating Orca and leaving her in an alleyway in Edelstein, where she joins the Resistance.

Watch next, Su becomes a storyline miniboss, Orca intervenes and pleads with Su to remember who she is. That fails, Su attacks Orca, Orca is defeated again. Then Orca's little bunny doll gets fried in the process, Su sees the doll he gave her, memory flood, breaks free from Gelimer and sacrifices himself to destroy Gelimer once and for all.

This is correct. DoT comes from your maximum range and nothing else.

And Lotus' spirit is a NPC in the Evolving World maps, so it would appear he switched sides as well, and Black Mage basically took off with his spiritless body.

It should also be noted that Lania gets possessed by the Black Mage in a similar manner in a high level Luminous quest:

Pretty sure that's just a hologram in the evolving world maps.
The body still has a spirit, it's just bent to Gelimer's will either by amnesia or mind control.

There won't be a Pirate hero.

I think there is a point to make fire aura a lot stronger is that.
it applies to all party members.
which mean, if there is 6 people in the party. the damage is 6x...

Angelic Burster doesn't really fit any of the five groups though. Even Mage would be bit of a stretch.
