But I'm prediciting that in the "future" the dragon slayers are consumed to open the "gate". This gate will somehow transfer Zeref's power to the celestial summoner in question.

Judging by what Lozmaster showed us Natsu dies in this future.

I really don't see that happening.

It's either Lucy or Levi herself. It doesn't make much sense Levi is writing to Lucy though.

The premise to this arc is pretty epic really, I just hope it doesn't fall apart by Fairy Tail totally kicking the heck out of all their enemies.

And someone really should beat the pomegranate out of Charlie. She totally predicted everything about Grimoire hearts' attack and did nothing. Same pomegranate happens again and she does nothing again.

I'd have to say it definitely looks like Lucy for now. This chapter looks like it's off to a good start, hoping to see more reveals in the next chapter.

And yeah, you would think she would at least do something...

That was actually my reaction after reading that the next two chapters were going to be side stories, after reading the chapter.

And man, I just so want to agree, just how can Gray just keep pushing Lluvia away?

But, that's impossible. Plus, Jellal had some fun this chapter with Erza. I was quite pleased.

thought the newest chapter was hilarious, even without words.

Bit of a waste of a chapter. I'm hoping he stalled two chapters so that chapter 300 would be a great one. I didn't mind last weeks side story because we at least got something important out of it (Raven Tails person apologising to Lucy, and the fact that they weren't arrested)

I liked how it was different, it was a cute story about a guy we never see and no dialogue, yet you understood what was going on. And chapter 300 titled "where the souls of the dragons rest" is pretty goddamn epic sounding story wise, to me at least.

We also now know Gildarts won't be coming to save anyone.

I hadn't notice these chapters were intended filler to get to chapter #300. Next chapter better be really awesome.

I've got to agree with this. While it has very little to do with the main story, I think this may be a set up towards chapter 300 because Gildarts will be way too far away to help out in whatever's going to happen next and I much preferred this to the previous chapter because it was a fun read and it was pretty awesome to read a chapter entirely conveyed out in actions.
