Time to rejoin the world. Finally getting some stuff done, going into work, where I'll probably be berated for not showing up for days as I lay in my deathbed, but so it goes. Just gotta push forward.

Went into Manchester via train. Picked up my student card and walked around the campus and my accommodation to get a feel of the area. bought a hot dog. That was tasty, haven't had one in ages.
Also had my hair cut, which was long overdue, I dislike my hair being that messy. If you'd asked me a few years ago I would have thought long or longish hair was awesome, but now it's all about the short haircut.

*Sigh*
That moment when you realize that there's someone that can do stuff better than you. Saw some undergraduate proposals, and they put mine to shame. Well not really to shame, but they were slightly better. I'll have to put some more effort if I want to impress... Also, 15 minute presentation? Pfft. I eat 15 minute presentations for breakfast.

Tired of having mood swings triggered by the slightest thing always lurking at my door.

I was feeling overwhelmed so we watched tv all night and then I made a balloon animal.

Stressed out despite hitting the 2nd week of school mark because:
- Honors college applications; writing my personal statement. Entire application due next week. - Putting together my PoliSci Accelerated MA application. Currently working on my personal statement and editing my writing samples. I have about 3 weeks to go before the due date, but going through this process is a HUGE step up from everything I had done before. - Writing up an honors independent study proposal (1 credit) to add on to one of the history upper-div courses I'm taking this semester. - Writing up an academic proposal (with my faculty sponsor overseeing) so I can be able to get academic credits for the internship I'm currently doing - Internship activities throughout the week Eff me.

Stayed up all night programming, class in the morning, got home at 5 PM and slept 5 hours. At least my math exam is being moved so I won't die there.

Chinchilla man back and in action.
As I said before, the setup I'm currently using is highly temporary. My computer is set up on a kitchen countertop until my desk comes. But I should be able to do some stuff at least. My computer suffered absolutely no damage during the move which I'm highly thankful for, and Comcast didn't turn out to be a douchenozzle after all. It's good to be (halfway) back. My feet are still f'ing killing me from all of the hauling and unpacking I've done over the past few days. Had my first day on the job as well. It went about as expected - just a lot of malware analysis, getting my accounts set up, and dealing with benefits.

Yep I am very familiar with Texas homecomings. Football is serious business 'round these here parts.

This was supposed to be an easy semester back to school. Instead it's my single most work intensive workload outside of class since leaving highschool. pineapple my life.

Well today was quite busy. Class where I was asked if I was the gay, police station to register as a resident, mall, bazaar where I managed to haggle, home , pizza place, home. Now sleep with stomach ache.

Stayed up until two working on homework this morning and woke up at five to go and get work done early today. Wound up running a 102 degree fever and have class until 7:30 tonight and have a test to study for. I'm so fucked.
