I don't use paragraphs.

I prefer to go glass on Anivia as she can kite extremely easy due to how her kit works. RoA also scales badly on a short duration map like ARAM. I just use it on casters that need to go in melee range. Really surprised that you can maintain your mana with just a damn chalice. Don't you ever find yourself OOM? Tear and chalice just scale nicely with each other because of the mana reg % on chalice of the max mana that gets improved by tear.

I guess that's fine on AP Ezreal =/

I might not have played enough ARAMs as Anivia, but in general my setup and the boosted MP5 in ARAM allows me to go quite a ways before I fall. Yes, I go OOM frequently, but mana regen is the strongest the less mana you have. Also, I almost never spam Q in a simple stand-off.

RoA is actually incredibly stat-efficient when fully charged. Even a fresh RoA still gives a fair stat boost. I can't recommend RoA every game, but I will say that if the other team is really determined and they have certain champions, they can and will get you.

In ARAMs I usually just get Chalice and Catalyst if I need mana. The main highlight of this was me running around as AP Amumu with Despair on all the time and not actually losing mana. In hindsight, I probably didn't need the Catalyst but WHAT THE HELL RIGHT

I never have mana issues on any character in aram due to

- If i need mana regen, i build a philo stone regardless of the champ
- I build a chalice if I need mana + their team is heavy AP

Spamming skills in aram doesn't work that well except for a few champs e.g. nidalee, janna. Even with philo though I never really have mana issues. If you burn all that mana on poking/clearing waves and then a team fight breaks out, you're worthless unless you're an auto attacker.

What are the tiers for?

What do you think they're for? I'm not too familiar with Starcraft 2's ranking system, but that's what Riot seems to be going for in Season 3.

IMO, the difference between silver and platinum is garbage and confusing.

It's also in the Surrender at 20 blog, though you won't find the same images there.

This is quite interesting. Coincidentally, I was wondering lately whether Riot would add a "Diamond" ranking as part of S3 rewards. (This stemmed from a recent convo with a 1900+ ELO buddy of mines who said that "being merely (or barely making) platnium - notably in the 1900-2099 ELO bracket- isn't significant at all given the increased number of platnium-ranked players this season [S2]". That promoted me to say "inb4 diamond ranking?")

I'm now really curious to see what Riot's going to do in the coming weeks. Since the top ELO is creeping really close to the 2800 ELO mark right now, my best guess is that the minimum for diamond ranking - if Riot does implement that as part of S2 rewards - I'm guessing they might set it at around the 2250-2300 ELO mark. Of course, that's subject to Riot's determination of which % of ranked players deserve that honor.
