I CHOOSE YOU!

I'm replaying soul silver, and I find strictly "nuzlocke" challenge to be stale. It's a cool concept, but I actually want to like the pokemon I'm stuck with, not forced to like them. In fact I kill pokemon I don't like off LOL.

So I already KNOW what pokemon I'm going for as my starter, but I'm more curious what YOU would choose. Like outside the 3 starters, what pokemon would you want to start off, realistically. I mean I know "ARCEUS" would pop out, but like how the anime goes. Ash get's pikachu, gary gets eevee, which unique starter would you want specific to your journey. I'm doing it for soul silver so the pokemon follows me.

So list your "pokemon" and why.

I'd love to start off with Mareep. Great evolution line (Ampharos is awesome), electric types happen to be my favorite and it's an electrical sheep!

Larvitar. Because I just love its evolutionary line to death.

I am biased towards Eevee, but starting off with Ralts would be fun. I've always liked Psychic types.

Tbh my fav legit start was always Torchic, cause blaziken is a beast. He should be in brawl for the Wii u, would be epic.

Eevee to evolve into Espeon.

Because Zubat can be found in any damn cave in the game.

Out of anything I would pick a male Ralts because I love Gallade to pieces. Although Smeargle would be an interesting challenge...

Riolu -> Lucario.

He was one of my best Pokemon back in Diamond (the first Pokemon game I bought instead of emulating). The fact in a VS game with a friend that the only way he beat me was with a Garchomp said a lot about how well he carried the team. Plus the idea of being able to understand human speech and talk to me via telepathy is very wicked.

I would personally choose either sandshrew (because I love both sandshrew and sandslash so much) or axew because all 3 of it's forms are awesome (IMO).

Growlithe, because Arcanine has been my favorite Pokemon since I first started playing. Arcanine is just a major badass.

Even if I love Typlosion's Chain to death...I'd have to go with....Trapinch>Vibrava>Flygon.

Kabuto->Kabutops

Both are my 2 favorite pokemon.

In the GSC/SS/HG world: probably Eevee for Espeon as well. I'd also consider Horsea for Kingdra, but unlike Eevee I hate Horsea.

Though if we're talking the entire Pokemon universe, Bagon hands down. Love me some Salamence.

I'm quite partial to fire types in the games. I really like all the fire starters (though the recent fire/fighting trend is getting stale :C) Blaziken and Typhlosion are my favorite starters of all with Growlithe/Arcanine, vulpix/ninetails. But if I had to, I'd take Larvitar, Bagon, or lucario/pikachu. Yeah Everyone already took my favorites C:
