Nexon's competency/quality level the past few months

I guess I must be a narrow-minded typical Basiler. What gives me the sheer audacity to criticize a company for things like dupes being around, for things like non-existent transparency, for things like no GM presence, for things like new exploits being around virtually every week or few weeks? And sorry, but it's quite obvious duping is still around. Go to the fm and see for yourself. And your comments about them not affecting anyone are...just stop. Maybe you're trying to speak from an objective standpoint, but how could these comments not be at least loosely interpreted as in defense of hackers?

And again, I don't want hard-earned non-duped items to disappear along with the duped ones. Not at all unless absolutely as a last resort. I genuinely want not only what's best for the individual player but what's best for the entire community (primarily those who are against cheating and hacking). Is that what made me "high and mighty"?

I agree they need to work on hackers/botting, I still see that in a lot of maps I go in. However, Nexon has been answering tickets significantly better..or at least they have for me

Well that's good for you at least. For myself, I've only sent them 1 ticket (filled with legit complaints lol, a few months back), and it was almost instantly closed.

i read enough of the posts to :f6: at their uncommon attitudes towards nexon. frankly, im surprised there are people who think nexon's management of the game isnt totally atrocious. look:

While I think Nexon's presence across the game is improving, I don't agree with the way you think we should deal with duped items. I'm a regular maple player and I have no idea what a VSS is or that 38 atk is considered duped. You guys tend to forget that this game has A LOT of stuff in it and each one of those things has a variable amount of change being applied to them. To expect someone who does not play this game as often as we do to be able to make that judgement on a whim, is an awful lot to expect.

Should I think GMs be a little more educated in the game? Sure, but how do you educate them? Plop them down in the game and have them level up a character?

an involved dev team is not too much to expect, but from the amazing amount of ancient bugs, the state of the markets, and the persistent hacking issues, theyre obviously oblivious.

How are dupes still around? Just because you seem more items or a deflation that just leads you to think that there's dupes? Smh. Provide some proof that dupes still exist other than that ridiculous NX dupe. And defining dupe; dupe is the duplication of an item that will NOT disappear after changing channels or logging off, just to clear that up.
We should all take what we're given, you don't know how Nexon really operates. They're running more than 1 game you know. "Oh why not just hire more people?", maybe that's because they're a company, not a group of people that made this game for your own pure entertainment.
At least they're even starting to reinforce and working to get better as to the past where they did almost nothing but unsched. s/cs and rollbacks.
If they can't find a solution, and whatever problem is just bothering you because it's there and it doesn't affect you at all aka duped equips, hacked UAs, then you're going to have to deal with it until:
A. they come up with a solid solution.
B. they just gave up, so get over it.

real companies take pride in their products and accomplishments instead of letting them fester and rot. theyre in it for the money of course, but normal companies lose customers when they allow a product to earn a reputation for being broken. theyve got you hook line and sinker and theyre powering up the outboard motor to drag you by your bleeding cheek for 20,000 leagues. its only gonna be worse for you if they manage to somehow gain respectability on the journey because youll never wish you could cut the line.
