The quests were part of the Golden Temple Level Up event, though. I don't see it as a problem.

A theme dungeon without quests? Bleh.

I'm just personally mad since I didn't get the medal because I thought the quests were permanent. Shame on me.

Hm, there is new CS stuff. I don't know why I didn't see a thread here about it. New perm NX, not retiring or in a box. Looks like the "permanent is profitable" message got through.

RE: Golden Temple -- the Burning Sunburst quest for Ravana was also removed. If that means I never got a chance to kill it, I shall be slightly irked.

I may be mistaken here about which quests. The Keepsake quests I expected to disappear. If the story line of Golden Temple is gone, then no, I didn't expect that at all.

Repeatable Ravana doesn't surprise me as an event, but I agree with you that it should have stayed.

It isn't rare. Sit in a map for an hour. Party any mikhails who are with you. Don't afk.

Uhh, yeah. Something that spawns once every hour (or longer) and you have to compete with everyone else over is what constitutes a "rare spawn".

All the other classes have to either collect 30 things, kill a boss, or just automatically advance. Mihile has to level 30-35 on level 29 enemies just to hold a map and almost lose the spawn to someone else for a 2nd Job advancement. Of course it isn't rocket science. It's incredibly fucking stupid.
