The revealed potential thread!
I'd assume that a gain of 9% int would add more than 55 int :f6:
Especially since you have 999 base.

Nevermind. Made room. Int with Android Legs: 1114. Int with Stirgeman Pants: 1153. Can't unequip Codex, which gives 7 Int. Base Int: 999.
You do the math.

You do the math.
1153/1006= ~14.6%
seems to work.
Edit: your android pants are adding too much, or I'm missing something
1114/1013= 9.9% :f6:

I don't know what the android legs gives...

14%=/=9%.
14%=+stat

I just cubed my VIP shield on my mage lol. i had higher range w/ 6%int then i did w/ 14int

Also tested it for luk;
base luk of shield = 4
"%LUK" of shield = +14%
shieldless = 256 luk
w/ shield = 280luk
Note that %stat does NOT affect stat gain from potential.

Math seems to work fine for me too.

But then, he wouldn't gain so much int would he?
When equipping the pants, he loses 12 int.
I'm assuming he has ~1300-1400 int "base"(not from potentials)
(3%(1400))-12+12(if the % is actually +)
comes out to 42 int.
The int seems to be too low for 6%, yet too high for +14.

how do you explain my range loss by about 1k clean when going from 6%int->14%int?

I have no idea whats happened to the potential system.
Its possible that the 12% is +12 sometimes, 6% sometimes, and 3% sometimes.
Only our supreme overlords at nexon know.

I got 14% Int on the Pants once too and compared them to my Android Legs and my range with the Legs was considerably higher, so it could be that 16% = 9%, 14% = +14, and 12% = 6%.

Which is why my advice to everyone is to not buy, sell, or cube anything with potential until Nexon fixes this bug.

I have a feeling this bug won't be fixed till legend.
They haven't even acknowledged the issue, even though thousands of tickets have been logged about this.
I'm starting to think it might be on purpose, after all-more useless lines=more cubes used=more money.

All the more reason to resist the temptation and not cube.
Maybe if the sales of cubes dropped, instead of rose, they might be a bit more motivated to fix it.

Which won't happen until Legend patch more than likely. :|

I haven't seen any bugs with the "real" potential percents (9%/6%/3%, 6/4/2, 3/2/1) only with these new ones. If you're not greedy and stick to those you should be safe.

That said nobody's provided specific enough numbers to say how it works. You should at least write your base stat, +stats from gear, +%stats from potential other than that equip, and whether you have MW on.

If everyone boycotts Miracle Cubes, do you think they'll take action?

High unlikely to get people to do it but yeah.

I can't be bothered to cube with a calculator, trying to figure out what my potential I really got. Not to mention invisible lines.
Once Nexon fix their crap, maybe I'll buy cubes again.

Also the bug seems only to affect non weapon exclusive potential.
Might just be me, but I've never seen a 16/14/12% att or total DMG, or 300% boss weapon.
Reply
I've seen a lot of 12%/14%/16% Att/Magic on weapons. Still haven't seen any problems with 20%/30% Boss or 15%/30% Ignore though.
