Im not liking how they are doing mega evolution much anymore. If each one has an X and Y versions, what will happen if they release a 3rd game? (i guess they could do none of a 2 again though). What about next generation? How is that going to translate for the next series?

MegaCharizard X.... The flames from its mouth seem a bit silly, but the rest is pretty badass. I wonder how megas would shiny.

Pretty nice side-by-side of the two Mega Charizard forms.

So this thread is like 91 pages long and as much as I'd love to go through it entirely and catch up on everything I know that'd take way too long Frown

Is there a definitive list of all the differences between Pokemon X and Y anywhere yet? I'm still not sure which version to get, so if there are certain evolutions only present in one game, or some Pokemon as X/Y exclusives I'd like to know beforehand so I buy the right game.

..I'll probably end up getting whichever version I don't get later anyway, but ;_;

Pokemon X:
Xerneas
Swirlix
Clauncher
Charizard X
Mewtwo X

Pokemon Y:
Yveltal
Spritzee
Skrelp
Charizard Y
Mewtwo Y

These are the only differences we know of so far.

Good thing I had chosen X from the very beginning.

That's why I'm Canadian. Biggrin

We can hope that there's a third version so you can get both Megalutions.

Maybe.

Mega charizard y still looks better in every way except maybe the wings, but both wings look cool. The only thing that really matters to me right now are the stats.[/COLOR]

I'm excited for Charizard X. Looks so badass!!! I always picked the fire Pokemon, so I'm a passionate Charmander lover (although my first game was Blue hah). <3

I started being just skeptical about this Megaevolution system, now I'm fully displeased. Can't help but feeling this is all a cheap brand strategy and completely unneeded game-wise. Heavily bothers me they're picking overrated Pokémon, and probably giving more of them another Megaevo, which shows how much hype exploiting this is oriented; a traditional evolution was just fine for game balance. Two Megaevos could be a good value for version exclusiveness, but I feel the feature should remain for legendaries only. I hope getting used to this really quick in game. :c

MegaCharizard X just looks like they thought of everything that could make it "cool" and threw it on. I don't like it (hoping that, since it's regular color is the shiny Charizard color, a shiny MegaCharizard X will be the same color as MegaCharizard Y). Glad I'm getting Y as well as X.

It adds another layer to serious battling: do you go for higher stats, different typing and ability or do you get to use an item (and a different Mega Pokemon, since you can only use one on your team at a time)? Some Pokemon lose more than just an item when Mega Evolving.

A permanent evolution which raises stats even higher would make them more powerful all around without losing anything. For Pokemon like Garchomp, that is overkill.

Legendaries are overrated. All Pokemon can be great. I'm glad they at least tried to dig deeper with MegaKangaskhan (and we still don't have the full Mega Evolution list). Although I agree that mostly mainstream Pokemon have been getting it.

That... is how the anime always should have been. Bloody hell that was great. Maybe then I'd actually watch the Pokemon anime.

Makin' me regret my decision to go with Y. Both Charizard X and Mewtwo X look FAR better than their Y counterparts in my opinion.

Sweet Jesus Lord. The special looks approximately 50x better than the currently airing anime. Replacement, plox.
