Weeeeell, I once glanced at this game while playing maple. Then never again. So I think I'll give this another shot.

Yassssssssssssssssssssssssssss. I'll most likely be starting with Tituba or Empress, I miss both my Witch and Summoner on kDnF. ;O;

I'm kinda 50:50 on expecting a wipe, to be honest.

It's Alpha, but not really. I think it's being called Alpha more because of two reasons.
A) It's all of Nexon's leftover files, so if they find this successful and worth the endeavor, we might get a giant leap in content. They may be using leftover files simply to gauge the interest in a revival. Why put effort into fixing Nexon's broken version if no one wants to play?
B) The servers. People complain less about broken servers if they call it an Alpha/Beta phase, but if they called it a flat out "revival", then people complain that the servers aren't working up to par/expected, etc.

I hope we get FSlayer in a reasonable amount of time if they deem this worthy of a revival. At the current login rate I would say so, but we all know how an influx of players works. Then again, DFO was really dead because Nexon can't manage for pomegranate and people were getting sick of it, too. So we'll have to see.

Anyway my current character is named Aruza, a (soon to be) Glacial Master. Really found it to be the most entertaining class for me so I thought I'd go back to the favorite right off the bat.

Like I said, Seria sells cash shop items, I seriously doubt this isn't getting a wipe.

I also can't see it not getting a full launch, considering they didn't advertise this or anything and its still overloaded to this extent.

That doesn't really prove anything (don't get me wrong, it supports it, but it doesn't prove it). They can do one of two things instead of a wipe once the test is over:

1) Delete all cash items. There's not even that many different items for sale, it wouldn't be that hard even if they couldn't delete by category.
2) Let everyone keep them, as a, "Thanks for coming back," combined with a, "Sorry Nexon NA was so fu'cking awful."

#2 would be an immediate morale boost to the community. Yes, while having the game back is a decent one, why not keep your players happy, and prove that Nexon NA is bumbling idiots while you're at it? It would be great payback for the sh'it DFO players have had to endure.

Oh hell yeah, time to totally get back into this game! Never thought I'd be able to play again.

Apparently magic sealed ITEMS aren't dropping which really sucks. Would have been great for leveling.

It disturbs me that when installing this game you have to sign in with facebook, then install a dubious plug in to your browser, and then THAT comes up and tries to intrude on your browser even more.

Seriously, gross. this game better be worth it.

I choose a channel (the beginner one) and it says "Operation timed out, please log back in" straight away and closes the client when I press OK.

I got a little further than that.. once, but then it just came up with an error straight after and closed the client.
I've tried multiple times now, but cannot play at all.

Everyone is playing on the low level channels, that's why you crash. They are full, which is bloody amazing for the future of the game.

Created a Thief, and i've been enjoying it so far.
Just got this from a boss:

Is it some kind of legendary weapon or something? the dagger I was using had 23 physical attack strength.. so it's a definite improvement.
