I worded it badly: You can get to pallet town from rock tunnel entrance without cut, it was just much longer. It's the route the hivemind took too.

The TPP creator / streamer confirmed we'll be playing Gen 2 next afterward. Not sure of the version, but I can already say I'm hyped!

Seems like an odd decision. Didn't someone almost immediately start a gen 2 game once this took off? Maybe if he adds a gimmick by letting the team carry over (but lowering the levels apporiately to say, 5, and reverted to first evolutions), it could be worth carrying on.

That game barely had more than 200 people playing at any one time, though. Even if TPP only kept half its viewers for a gen 2 game it'll still be a better experience than all those copycat streams put together.

I think Crystal would be a pretty decent pick for it. I weep for the trouble they'll be getting into with going back through Kanto and ultimately facing Red. If I'm not mistaken the other channel that had Gold going on wasn't nearly as popular as this one so it'll be interesting to say the least.
Let's hope he keeps the trend up and add in Gen 3 afterwards.

Idk how you guys manage to watch this and maintain your sanity. Don't get me wrong, I really like the idea of this and watching it play out as a social experiment is fascinating, but damn... as someone who has played 5 pokemon games it drives me nuts to watch these morons all want different things, where we spend 40 minutes walking between the PC and the door of the Pokemon Center.
Logged on last night for a bit and we were literally walking through the grass in circles while everyone was arguing about whether or not to use the Moon Stone...
Definitely the most interesting cluster f'uck I've ever seen

He's been left to guard the PC sadly. We tried to get him out earlier but got Lapras instead, started spamming A a couple of seconds too early ;_;
The team is actually fairly well balanced now, which is hilarious. Drowzee instead of Lapras would've been perfect though

You shall be missed, Keeper. May ATV take up your mantle and carry on. The current team comp should be enough to get through the Elite Four as long as everyone gets levels.

I believe that trainer (burglar?) stands to the upper right of the stairs, and can switch the way he is facing.
I assume the Dome led us into that pathway by making us believe there were riches, and manipulated that trainer to face our way as we realized it was a trap.

It would be really impressive if they managed to pull off the Mew trick.

In RBY, HM02 is in a small area above Cycling Road (before the Snorlax blocking the left exist from Celadon you use cut on a tree and go up and left into a house); you speak to the girl inside and she gives you Fly if you promise to keep her whereabouts a secret.

The general consensus is that it would only set us back and send us to the wrong town.
As far as I know, the pointer can only stay on cities (like if you are on a city and you press any direction it automatically skips to another city), so it would make it way too hard to get anywhere. The walking isn't that terrible either, we do need to level up some of our pokemon.

Oh I assumed actually using fly to travel would be ridiculous; I was wondering if they were trying to give him another attacking move since quick attack can only do so much.
