GMS Server Status Discussion - 2012 closeout

I wonder what that means, exactly.

Maybe they’ll tweet every time Khaini gets taken down by a server/channel crasher.

I expect it'll just be updated when they update their web site, which means at a total game level (game up / game down). Might even say something like, "Maple is down for maintenance for 5 hours" (because every time the game goes down there are at least a dozen "When will the game be up? I don't know PST" threads on their forums).

Well whats going on tonight? The status page is in a pretty pattern tonight. Windia crashed a couple times, but not everyone was kicked off. When i looked at the status page most of the servers that were in an alliance were down but went right back up.

Fairly sure duping is back, but from what I heard it wasn't a crash inducing one. So who knows, maybe the typical attack on Nexon's servers?

Not sure there's any crashing going on at all. I haven't dc'ed in, hmm, 12 hours at least - on a channel that the status history claims has crashed several times tonight. I do experience occasional lag spikes. Perhaps they get bad enough for the status checker to time out.

I've disconnected 3 times in the past hour. Not even doing anything in particular, twice I was just sitting in town and just now I was changing channel looking for Lyka.

Was there a ninja server maintenance today? There wasn't anything on the calendar and there's no notice but when I checked my shops this morning I discovered the servers had either crashed or reset. Given that a bunch of events were ending today I thought there might be a maintenance but there wasn't any kind of notice.

You can click on individual channel indicators on the status display to see their status history. For example, I can see that Khaini ch 1 did crash for about 5 minutes, two hours ago. (Or, at least, was unreachable to the status checker). Check the channel your shop was on?

It was Khaini channel 1 indeed. I guess the channel must've actually gone down for a bit.

So ch crash is back. They can't dupe but they can take down all shops in FM.

I'm not so sure about that, the cash shop and login servers were down for a little bit as well. Is the Renegades shop still up and is 3x3x3 still doable? I believe both were ending on the 18th.herpaderp

They end on the 19th. Which could be this midnight or tomorrow midnight, depending on Nexon. Renegades shop is still open (I'm getting rid of the last of my mules' coins as we speak) and the 3!3!3! quests are still popping up for those mules.
