Does seem ridiculous. Weren't the dupe hackers selling fully scrolled and cubed empress weapons for not much more than that a few weeks back? I can't imagine myself paying that much to a hacker for the slight chance that he would follow through on the deal and actually give me the weapon and not just scam me. I believe they all demand prepayment in Nx or paypal (as opposed to trading for stacks of white scrolls or other commodities), so there is no way to avoid setting yourself up to be scammed.

They use official middlemen posted on "the site" to avoid being scammed.

I feel like the granny shop is a false trail, and they're actually using a different method.
Similar to how they convinced anyone that the infinite slot exploit involved golden hammers last time.

There really should be a separate thread for all the maple is doomed hacking discussion. We can lament empress-specific hacks here, but that's it.

Killing her after she heals 60 something times isn't legitimate. If someone would like to prove me wrong and make a video, by all means. But till then no. The only way to kill her in GMS right now involves hacking. All new weapons you see in GMS since the gach were obtained by hacking.

Is it bad that I'm kinda hoping they produce some Stirgeman skirts? It was pretty annoying that only the male set existed...

Heard about people who gave up their perfected equips for a Lucky Guy medal, Lucky Badge, Dominator Pendant, and Akarium rings. All clean of course.

How sad that GMS could easily boom all the Empress equips like how EMS did it. How great it would be if that were to happen...

Lol it isn't anywhere near debatable. Such a feat is WAY too unfeasible and the splits aren't spectacular enough to justify it, especially when you factor wheel costs.

I don't see how they could just "boom" all the Empress equips. Many people got weapons from those Hero Key Boxes legitimately and a lot of the 140 armor came from killing instructors. If GMS just wiped all empress gear, they would basically destroy the little faith people have in this game and in its economy.

If they could ban/delete every empress weapon/holder from April to now it would have been easy.

well, nothing you don't know already, but pretty much.

i woke up, said hi to BL, and got welcome'd by "COME CRASH EMPRESS IN CH 13 HENESYS @@@@"

aftr that, i spent a good 2 hours trying to get everyone to work together, i was pretty much directing the bind->crash sequence for the whole remaining of the fight.
of course there were idiots that despite me saying infinitely to stop attacking her, even if reflect wasn't up, STILL kept attacking her, making her be pretty much in perma-reflect

not to mention the idiots that attacked DURING reflect, simply because they didn't die due to how empress' reflect works

mainly an aran, a BaM, and a DrK that caused me a freaking migraine. killing the mercedes and the binders.

when i got to stressed, i simply told my party to not respawn, and i started whacking empress during reflect, killing everyone else. (woo 70k hp!)

but yea, guess this proves that empress can be killed legitimately, the only problem is the massive amount of damage required in such a short time when fighting the real thing, which is what makes it killable only with hacks.

note that the fight went for over 3 hours total ~_~ (also, lol at empress "sending out to the other room" which made us end in leafre, cygnus back garden.)

At this point why does it matter if it's legitimate or not? Anyone who kills empress will have some form of dupe equip anyway.

nobody knows where it came from actually, but GM's have been randomly popping smega's like "rock on Scania!" the past week, wouldn't surprise me if they were just scripted wrongly and summoned on accident.

although about the summoning sack, i wouldn't know, you'd have to ask fiel about that, that would show up in an extraction right?

Well without pot cooldown, attacking with 70k HP must make you feel like a god lol. Do you know if anyone got the card?

i lagged through the drops, i saw nothing, but i'm guessing someone did get it.

owls only show tradeable items, which is why i say you have to ask fiel.
and yes, the HP made me feel pretty good hahaha. i barely attacked, but it was fun commandeering the randoms.
