[COLOR="Green"]I for one am considering quitting if the extractions don't show this area to be anything but copy pasted Neo City fro KMS. This place was the last cool looking area I felt I could enjoy myself in. It's not that difficult of an area to get in or navigate provided you don't act like an idiot. I thought I might finally have an area I could explore or enjoy, besides doing nothing but CWKPQ all the time. That was literally one of the only reasons I ever logged on anymore, because training just sucks. This place would have given me fresh quests and storylines to explore and find out, all while teaming up with friends to beat down new monsters. Now I'm going to see an area where the monsters I could kill with 1 or two attacks, and that's WITH me having no gear at all from being hacked. This place is an entire waste of time for anyone above level 90, simply because it has no benefits to us whatsoever. This is like a new Mushroom Castle, except I'm allowed to get the monster cards.

And no, I'm not going to forget this for the next new thing, like Russt said. This was the only thing I had ever wanted in this game, and now I'm not getting, so nothing them could ever add would make it up to me.[/COLOR]

Forgive us for wanting more then 3 decent areas to train. Forgive us for wanting bosses where strategy/avoiding skills can actually be used. Forgive us for wanting the new weapons and goodies to obtain. Forgive us for wanting a place with an actual decent story.

I don't get why so many people are worked up over not getting Neo Tokyo. 95% won't even enter, 3% won't get past the first boss, 1.9% will stick around for a while and end up barely ever coming back just like dojo/etc., 0.05% will actually kill monsters/bosses there regularly for the forging stuff, and 0.05% will go there just to get exp off core blaze.

We're not hiveminding it up, repeating the same thing over and over in this thread. Varying opinions here. I'm indifferent. Many consider quitting. Some are apathetic.

Then one cocknugget comes in, says he feels like this game shouldn't even have anything added to it, because it is free and Nexon shouldn't have to extend any services to us because it isn't their job and they aren't making any money at all. We should also consider donating to Nexon and eventually take over server maintenance so we can make sure the game stays up for us. God knows what will happen if we ask too much.

Conciente is a stupid niglet. His slavemaster can only do him good. Even if it is excrement smeared all over his face, it will be good because it came from his precious master.

I don't get why everyone is SO extremely worked up about this. Why were you guys expecting Nexon to release Neo Tokyo? We always get KMS stuff, you guys know that. And as for Hime claiming we would get Neo Tokyo, come on guys, it's Nexon. Honestly, I think some of you guys are completely overreacting. Like Cyanne said, the 95%+ will have no use for this, whereas more people would be able to use Neo City, even though it's not all that great anyways.

So what I'm to undestand from this thread, is that A) There is almost no chance of us getting Neo Toyko, instead we are getting the dumbed down version that will see many times the use the original would have. B) Many members of SP complaining about not getting NT, then other members complaining about their complaining, and then yelling at each other repeating the same thing over and over again, until its not longer about NT, since they have run out of things to say about NT, now it extends to the whole picture of Nexon and Maplestory as a whole, and everyone's opinion on that, and then everyone just tells everyone else they are delusional.

I feel really sorry for Global. Neo City is a piece of pomegranate area. There's nothing of value you can get from it. All of the bosses and monsters aren't worth training on nor are they even close to being realistic as a level 70+ area. Neo City realy is a joke. You can't deny it. There's absolutely nothing good about it. Future Toukyou would have been infinitely times better. I'm sorry, Global players. I feel your pain.

The equips take forever to get, collecting items with low drop rates that's even worse than trying to forge Crimson weapons. Having Neo Tokyo will not gaurantee that you'll get your fancy 115 weapons. I'm not saying Neo City is necessarily better than Neo Tokyo, but it does help a lot more people, I'm sure there are more people between 70 and 100 than there are between 140 and 200.

LOL! NO! I went through Future Toukyou within a week, doing only one boss a day and I accumulated enough of the items to make a weapon and a half. Is that really SLOW? No, I don't think so. Considering I only put in about 1 to 2 hours of effort into the area a day, the items are extremely easy to get! Neo City gives NOTHING! The Future Toukyou weapons benefit EVERYONE! Sure, Global has 30 weapon attack stars, but the Future Toukyou stars are FREE to recharge, they hold the HIGHEST amount of stars out of ANY set of stars in the entirety of the game already, and they're a lower level than Balanced Furies. That benefits much, much more people than Balanced Furies.
The weapons inflict STATUS EFFECTS! Do you know useful that is? I can't even stress enough how useful they are in JapanMS, no way at all... They're just tops. Everyone aims toward getting one of the weapons, which makes the prices of them go really high, but the items are literally of the best in the game. Future Toukyou will always be far, far, far, far, far, far superior to Neo City. Neo City just just a pile if sh'it in the toilet waiting to get flushed.

It's still possible for them to come up with some bs at a later point for why there are mobs that look exactly the same in Neo City as they do in other areas, but have different stats. Though I won't be holding my breath expecting anything.
