Kimi ni Todoke 12: What happened to "I don't spread rumors"? Oh well, it doesn't really matter. Ryu was really cool this episode, especially when he confessed his love. I'm surprised he's a catcher. I also liked how Pin was really disturbed by Kurumi's smile, instead of the usual charmed reaction most people have.

Seakitties 26 - Really, Deen? I'm not the kind of person who's watching every episode and raging over it not being 100% to the original or anything, but this ending really did disappoint me. I found this episode in particular to be a pretty bad adaptation overall, and I'm usually not that bothered by the anime. I'm happy it's being animated at all, and don't expect it to be a replica of the VN, but I really felt this ending didn't do the series any justice at all. There's no way they could have packed the finale + the last tea party + the last extra teaparty into one episode, I don't know what they tried. Scenes that didn't really need to be cut out, were cut out. The Red vs Blue battle was lacking...oh, I dunno... Red Truth. Seriously, the whole episode was lacking red where there should have very well been red.
Disappoint
Beatrice's counters were almost all spoken normally, what's with that? Battler didn't even investigate the island for clues after the episode 4 events. Ange's scene, although still emotional, was not nearly as heart striking as it should have been. Battler should have been skeptical as to if Ange is really his ally or not. He's not sure if he can believe Ange is really there to help him, and he says; "You can't trust anything, you can't trust any words that aren't red...!!"
With that, Ange proceeds to respond to him in red;
"Hurry up and come back home, big brother!
Don't leave me alone!
It's me, Ange!
Neither dad, nor mom, nor big brother return home!
It's only then that Battler snaps out of his broken state. The anime didn't really show this at all. Ange didn't even need to tell who she was in the anime, because Battler regained himself just fine without knowing who Ange was. He was willing to trust anyone in this episode. What's up with not keeping the bit at the end where Ange makes Battler promise that he won't turn back when she lets go? Where she says she wants him to show her his best moves against Beatrice?
Spoiler
Battler + Ange
By the way, I find the fanmade ending to have been done better than Deen's version. If anyone is interested, the youtube link to it is here. Obviously it has spoilers, so don't watch if you haven't seen the ending yet. The subtitles are Chinese. I can't seem to find an English subbed version on youtube, but I have te download link for the subbed version here.

Trapeze 8-9: The stories aren't uninteresting but nothing particularly noteworthy or unique. I am waiting for them to explain Irabu's fetish for seeing people get shots though.
Railgun 13: That wasn't as good as expected, but the final scene was cute.

Just finished Seitokai no Ichizon. I've gotta catch up with Railgun again.
Seitokai no Ichizon 08:
Also: aluminum hydroxide.
Seitokai no Ichizon 09:
Obviously the weakest in terms of jokes; and for a series with an overdependence on irrelevant parody shoved in for no reason, this can be a very destructive and bad thing.
This series opened up on a Lucky Star parody for a reason: it was like an attempted challenge to Lucky Star in terms of being a school setting slice-of-life with loads of references.
When you add drama to the mix of a series that is really driven by parodying cliches and making references (in this series, most of which aren't even that relevant to the actual situations), you start to realize how weak and poorly written this thing is. The dialogue is written so that you're sitting there and expecting a punchline for most of the series; and honestly, it does amuse me. However, that's not how good dialogue is done. Good dialogue means that the listener wants to hear what these characters have to say, expecting nothing, and letting the words soak into them, amuse them, outrage them, or affect them in some way. This is a major weakness: when they try to break from the loop that they've used the whole time, the viewer is expecting some laughs to pop up on a consistent rate by waiting for the punchline; but when the series tries to take the spotlight off the laughs, you're bound for disaster considering the viewer is bored out of their mind and it's not what they wanted to watch. This is exactly the problem when the episode has a plot about Chizuru meeting up with an old friend from junior high school named Kanade who she lost contact with due to dramadramadrama during middle school and now wanted to make amends about the dramadramadrama from the past. The plot is stale and boring, and in a series that tries to make cheap laughs, this is horribly boring.
On another note, I loved how the action manga Minatsu was reading was an obviously Bleach parody with look-alikes of Ichigo, Orohime, Chad, and Uryu. Nice gags from here were the fortune telling thing and the whole H-games vs. BL thing between HAREM MAN and Mafuyu.
Seitokai no Ichizon 10:
-I can't believe they remembered the whole "MOKYU!~" gag.
-The Endess Eight reference was something interesting and subtle I caught onto.
-Sucks that they were too lazy to show us the play they put on.
Seitokai no Ichizon 11:
I AM THE KAICHOU! I AM KAICHOOOOOOUUUUUUUUU!~
I didn't even laugh during this episode, but this one had a few touching parts to it. This episode, minus Mafuyu confessing, could have been a great way to end the series. In a very vague sense, it would have ended as "HAREM ENDING"!!11!!!!11
Not only that, I liked when they defended Ken against those two guys from his junior high that were talking trash about him, and how that entire sequence was done.
Mafuyu confessing was kind of sudden.
Seitokai no Ichizon 12:
The Rocky theme parody was awesome.
"Your face is too close." reminded me of:

One of my favorite lines from the episode:
Spoiler
Holy crap, the fabled Nakameguro really exists. I never would have seen that coming.
Interesting, it seems the animators remembered the point about Mafuyu not usually wearing panties and decided to show a bit of her ass in this scene.
The BL-like sequence was pretty funny too.
I really liked around the last minutes, it really goes into the real character of Ken's relationship with the council and each one of theme and circles around all of the cryptic flashbacks from the episodes; and for that, it was a decent ending, even if it wasn't lolharem ending like this scene from the exact same episode:
But in the end, I'll have to say this about the last episode:
I'd give this a solid 6/10 or 7/10 as a series as a whole.

Sasameki Koto 11:
Good job Kiyori! Taking Aoi away so Ushio and Sumika can finally get some screen time together was a nice move. I really do like them as a pair.
As for Aoi, I have mixed feelings about her, on one hand she is selfish and annoying but on the other hand, she has shown that she is a understanding of UshioxSumika and is willing to accept that.
Kimi ni Todoke 11-12:
Good stuff. Hoping all of this drama doesn't drag on so ShoutaxSawako can develop more.
DTB 12
That... was the end? I was extra worried until the credits started rolling
Spoiler
Are they suggesting a season 3 that'll be awfully similar to what just happened, or just that the whole thing will be a sort of recursive ordeal? Disappointed by lack of action. Still not entirely sure what short-blond-hair-big-boob-spacesuit lady's deal is.
Umineko no Naku Koro ni 26:
Lambdadelta and Bernkastel on the same bed was the highlight of the episode.
Sasameki Koto 13:
I liked this episode despite the lack of development. Plenty of cute moments and a few laughs. My only problem is I feel like there should be an episode 14. DAMN YOU ON-GOING MANGA.
I really like this series as a whole, a decent balance of drama and comedy, great characters, and an enjoyable watch. This show also had the most fun filler episode I have ever seen. In the end, I gave Sasameki Koto a 8/10 because I am sucker for yuri.
Since this thread seems to be the right place to post about upcoming anime:

I forget all about Haruhi for about a month, and this comes out on 12-18. Non-K-On graphics are back, it seems, and if not possibly going to be better than Season 1 graphics!
Trailer is absolutely awesome, by the way. Haven't read the novel yet to avoid being spoiled the fun for this movie.
