v141 Cygnus Awakening - Bugs and Glitches

The game has been crashing on me at frequent intervals as of the last few patches or so. No matter what character, no matter what I'm doing, no matter what computer or internet connection. It just closed on me as I tried to enter a party quest (I'm not sure which, I just spammed "J> Any PQ" and they chose a random one). Sometimes it happens randomly as I change maps. Other times, it just pops out of nowhere (especially when I AFK).

I know its sorta established at this point that MS has its fair share of glitches/problems, but the frequency of the crashing has gone up for me as of recently. I can't even get it to start on my laptop (which I just purchased last year).

Not sure if it's a glitch or not, but someone on Basil pointed out that Soul Seeker completely ignores Damage Reflect.

I dug a bit deeper and found that it also ignores Super Weapon Defense Up, but screenshots at Krexel kind of suck.

The "Member of the Alliance" quest to gain the Maple Alliance medal is broken, at least on my Thunder Breaker.

Normally once you enter the alliance room, you can just talk to Cygnus directly and she'll give you the medal there, but that doesn't seem to work anymore.
After leaving the alliance room, Cygnus has the "Member of the Alliance" quest, but nothing happens when you attempt start it, making the medal unobtainable.

Oh, and in Henesys "Windflower Forest", a few of the hay-cube platforms don't work anymore.

So my brother noticed Final attack skills are not proccing as much as it used to on his aran. His final attack and advanced final attack skill are maxed, but double swing, triple swing, final blow, final toss, beyonder blade rarely proc final attack anymore. Like for every 20 swing, final attack only proc once.
Same thing happen on my aran. Worried I decided to see if my hero AFA was affected.
Power strike, slash blast, brandish, ground smash almost never proc FA. (60% chance to proc FA)
Intrepid slash and raging blow does proc, but not as much as it used to. (proc once every 6 hits)
Which mean certain skill has a different proc rate for FA.

But can anyone else confirm that FA reduced proc rate is glitched for their character.

Yulia in Ludibrium is literally on the same exact spot as the Secondary Weapon Seller NPC.

Also, in Omega Sector, I'm seeing 2 Zeno boss-mobs spawned in the exact same map.

I remember last patch seeing 2 Deo spawned in the same map too, not sure what that's all about.

Hayato's Battoujutsu Stance no longer goes into a stance animation. It's like Dawn Warriors stole it off them.

I liked that Hayato went into that stance animation, it was cool.

Yulia in Ludibrium is literally on the same exact spot as the Secondary Weapon Seller NPC.

The Ludibrium Yulia sure does get around. The last time she visited, Inkwell was her "brave hero," "larger than life". I vaguely remember this happening with some other NPC too, I can't remember who though.

Combo Judgment's damage numbers now appear. I thought they didn't change this till the revamps before RED.

And the Combo Counter does not fade away, but it's just a visual glitch and it'll restart back at one, if you wait too long in between attacks.

Not sure if anyone pointed this out yet, but Cygnus Knights created before the revamp cannot receive Hero's Will. The quest line for Strong Will is not available and the skill is not received upon advancement to 4th job.

It isn't a glitch, she was supposed to get this eventually but probably not with this patch. Phantoms and mercedes were supposed to get stuff too but they didn't so i'm surprised this made it through.

Glitch was probably the wrong word of choice, unexpected buff would be more accurate.

It's strange because Soul Seeker did not receive the other buffs (85% regeneration rate, 7 maximum regenerations, can be casted in the air) that were included in that kMS balancing patch.

I wonder how they determine which skill really ignore DR. You have things like this type of ignore where full damage is applied and other cases where "ignore" simply means attacks result in 1 damage and they don't active the reflect effect.

The only part of that skill that's working as intended is the not triggering damage reflect part, it was never supposed to just straight up go through it nor weapon cancel.

Are you serious? They don't get to use CK link (from other knights) and they don't get Hero's Will? wtp

I didn't notice if this was reported, but while I was at Pixies if I used Tidal Crash the no damage would show nor would the Pixies show their death animation, they'd just stay there until I changed maps and then they'd be gone. It might apply to other monsters as well, but I've been too lazy to check.

Well, yeah, there isn't even a Hero's Will, or anything like Hero's Will, in their 4th job skill data. Terrible as it is, they've already revamped like 3 of them, none of which have gotten Hero's Will, so I'm pretty sure they didn't just forget. Could always hope that they'll add it in the future, though, like I do with Demon Slayer =[

I tried to fight Hilla Normal Mode to celebrate my Dawn Warrior hitting 150.

When I tried to use Impaling Rays, the game crashed.

The WA fourth job skill Emerald Dust doesn't list any damage reduction (it's supposed to have 20% in KMS) and doesn't list the speed decrease. Does Emerald Dust-boosted Flower have these properties, or does it only have the PDR?
