Actually is a plot so they can get 2 maps created for the prize of one. New MapleIsland, then add flames and smoke on it and you got the second one.

Actually Shanks got deleted, that's a new captain whose name is Basily. :O
Anyways I think the destroyed Maple Island only gets triggered for Adventurers who go further in the story line quests, and I think it gets fixed up after a couple more (not too sure about this part though).

How about all non-cash cubes having a certain chance of lowering the potential grade (with Strange/Occult Cubes having the highest chance of doing so), and cash cubes having no chance of doing so?

This reminds me... For night Lords, if you kill a monster with Showdown in one hit... Does the exp and drop increase still apply?
If it does this would be fantastic.

They really need to buff the mobs so we don't have everybody killing every damn thing in a hit or two.
I wouldn't mind if they boosted all the mobs' HP while maintaining their HP:EXP ratio, just so it feels like I'm actually DOING something to get the exp. :/

With the way taunt works currently it does not. Good question though. Wonder if they happened to think of this as well.

I was getting super confused by what was added versus what was changed/removed from patch to patch. This makes things so much easier to understand.
For some reason I thought they changed Parashock's +20% party guard rate to -20% damage (which would make it an inferior Combo Barrier) but it actually gives both which is amazing (and the damage reduction is applied to self as well). I am so much more excited for this skill and the entire patch for that matter xD.

It applied when I one shotted monsters using Demon Cry in Evolving World to get my DS mule up to 120, so I'm betting it'll be the same with Showdown. Then again, I don't think monsters gave extra experience when I killed them using Stink Bomb Shot on my Wild Hunter, but that skill is kind of an example of what NOT to do for a fourth job attack and I don't think they'll make the same mistake.

Since they rebuffed shield mastery defense the -20% defense is laughable and the loss of Guard rate is not so big a deal anymore since they buffed our status resistance and damage reduction so much. Definitely worth using in a party and even solo for +20 attack.

Taunt does that currently. As in only debuffing but not counting the killing blow. Since it's the same skill, there's still the chance... Hoping it's not the case though.
Testing is required I guess.

About 1:50 onward, although the lines are blurry, you don't see a second yellow colored separate line. What I saw from Zelkova's video is that there's supposed to be a separate yellow colored line since the EXP lines are split for bonuses in kMST when Taunt is active. The Youku video doesn't have the separate yellow colored line, and both are from kMST 1.2.480.
That means Taunt's EXP/Drop Rate Increase isn't applied if you ohko the monster with it.
