Monster Life reactions
I had completely forgotten that you could trade Waru for MonsterLife coins to get scrolls.
Hey this suddenly has more of a point. Monocle

If I have a monster I don't want, all I can do is release it. Can't sell, trade, or gift to someone else?

Yep, that's correct.

Now I understand what Girasol meant by saying on page 5 that the monsters we release supposedly show up in the maple world :f6:
Sorry about the bad cropping. It was in the corner of the map.

Some random box appeared for me and gave me 10k Waru. I'm currently lvl8 and have 12k Waru despite combining a fair amount. It's definitely possible to get up there, but unless I get lucky again I'm going to need better income building than my current 6 building wind farm.

Yeah, I suppose that's another way of stumbling into a random person's farm other than using the mirror and what that message in your news feed meant; "*Random* was invited by one of your monsters to visit your farm and accepted the invitation." I've been releasing a bunch of rank C/repeated monsters. Feels sort of odd that the monsters you release from your farm gets murdered by random people...

in concept, a decent farm + daily free waru from box can get a good amount if you save. of course cash users have an advantage on speed of which they get content, but it isnt impossible to get stuff as a f2p.

I don't know if this has been answered yet, but what exactly is the point of upgrading the house? It doesn't seem to affect your aesthetic score and the cheapest upgrade is 20k Waru iirc. That's a lot of money for something that doesn't benefit you...

Your farm (assumably) gets bigger, you start out 15X15 -> 17X17 First Waru Upgrade -> 19X19 Second Waru Upgrade. The rest are Gem purchased. I say assumably because I haven't purchased one, my brother says he is close though, 38K or so, so we'll confirm or cry tomorrow.

Confirming that it makes your farm bigger. I bought the first extension and love it.

There are those Jimmy-Jack and Clara NPCs in the towns of MapleStory.
You can talk to Clara to exchange 2,000 waru for 1 monster life coin and you use the coins to buy stuff from Jimmy-Jack.

Due to the horrific lag, I decided to simply rightclick->play all the monsters that are relevant, then immediately click the mirror to send off the move-map command. Alt-tab to continue surfing stuff, finish reading one thread, come back and I've moved map with all the playing from the previous map done.

I guess its more or less the solution to the potentials being temporary. If you can spend a bit of time to go get the rare monsters, then making it non perm isnt so bad in the end, it just gets waru costly.

So, ummm, what's the point of the special monsters that have no potential and can't be combined?

Tried to release one of the monsters in my storage barn and it somehow released the SS monster I got from the Hot Day instead. Fuarrrrrrrrrkkkk.

I feel guilty for killing those monster that advertise monster life. All they were doing was delivering a message, but they get in the way! :[

They give your friends 8 waru if they play with them.

There's also an achievement for receiving an invitation from your own monster. Sounds so tediously difficult.
