No. With my logic, anyone selling/buying the hacked items should be perma-banned, and anyone selling/buying the glitched decent skills should be temp-banned only because one is obviously not as game-breaking as the other. The whole excuse of buying/selling glitched gear "because you can" is laughable and wrong, but doing what you did, is being greedy, regardless of under which circumstances it was. .

The fact that everyone knew PvP was more than likely to be removed with this patch should have been evident enough that skills may be removed.

No it isn't. I know this argument is not going to go anywhere, but I'll say what I think. He sold a profitable service that was in high demand, whether or not how "legal" in terms of what Nexon thinks it was. Now that he has made the money and Nexon screwed people over, why should he have to return the money to those renters? Everyone knew the risk and to think that he should feel sorry enough to give out of his pocket is ridiculous. Did dupers give players money back when they sold thousands of duped chaos scrolls only to have them deleted the next day? No. What about all those hacked weapons? Also, making the argument that he should be "better than those hackers" or something of that nature also holds no water.

Welcome to Maplestory. Things that seems sketchy usually are. If you are participating in a glitch or hack, you can eventually expect either the hammer or the removal of said glitch. I think LoveVictim is already being extremely generous when he said that he would give Windia one free day of renting from him. You can sit here and ask for him to do more than that all day, but it seems to me that you are just looking for a way to give exploiters some money back so they can feel better about this loss that just hit their wallets.

I'd like to think there's quite a difference between an experience gain exploit, sales of hacked/duped gear, WELFARE FRAUD (We're talking about a game here, the hell is wrong with you?), and a glitch for skill use. Also, what is this "selfishness"? Are you seriously trying to say that selling a service and making a profit is "selfish" or "wrong?" There is no "hole in the shirt". A 3rd party, "Nexon" came and ripped the shirt in half. Does that mean the one who sold it to you has ANY obligation to compensate you for that? No, not one bit.

The seller knew that the item they were selling can have issues regardless of what the buyer thought. Does that mean the seller is completely unaccountable? Depends on what it is they're selling. If a car retailer sold a new car to someone today and tomorrow it is found out that the car is non-functioning because the manufacturer was incompetent building it, does the retailer not owe the buyer any money?

Also, most people, myself included, can agree that 500-600m is an insanely cheap price to pay for having decent hyper body, sharp eyes, adv bless, etc for almost a year now.
Although, my buffs feel rather empty without decent skills, and i constantly press my decent skill hotkeys with nothing there
I miss them, but its not the end of the world, especially since they werent exactly too expensive.

He doesn't have to do anything yet he's offering free rentals to everyone when there's an available way to glitch the skills.

My unique skirt only has one %str line, I would have used those cubes-and-locks packs to get decent HB on another line.

But, Nexon wouldn't give me the chance to spend that money. Just as well, I need it for the perma pendant slot.

You're a bit confused about me, because for a second there it sounds like you think I play for yours or anyone's approval anyways, join the club of everyone who has their mixed opinion about me. When you have this much attention for this selling a service, everyone has their own mind about it. I did what I was asked to do and busted my ass for it, and sold a service that may not have been legitimate but they got what they wanted. I'm sorry for everyone, and one day, if it returns, I will do my best to get Windia a full day free rents. Maybe I'll do two days. My BL never paid for rents for all their characters/mules so they know they will be taken care of immediately when it returns.

Was this completely understandable on nexons part? Yes.

Why people always turn around and blame someone else when they are clearly the ones in the wrong baffles me.

Oh well, I'm done with this thread. I got some friends, I may buy some more Nebulites and when this day happens I'll have a group of them give out free rents all day as long as there is collateral.

With alien cubes having no signs of returning, and not seeing a single dhb neb in windia over the last 3 months, that might be a bit difficult.
Especially with this happening, whoever has an unused dhb neb would most likely want a huge sum for it.
I think it would actually be cheaper to buy hb pants for your class and then swap equips like those KMSers.
