Anyone care to explain what this patch does to my blessing? I am having a hard time keeping track of what's going on with it.
First it was linked from my DW to my bishop, then it was linked from the highest char to the next highest char excluding KoC... What does it do this time? If it helps to answer my bishop is 147 and my DW is like 87.

Blessing of the Fairy gives +1 for the highest level on your account's level/10. Empress' Blessing gives +1 for the highest level Cygnus on your account's level/5. Your character cannot be affected by their own Blessing, regardless of if they are a Cygnus or not. The highest level Blessing overrides the other one, so they do not stack.

The Empress Blessing Every 5 levels earned on a Cygnus character means 1 SP distributed in the blessing skill on your main or other character. The maximum level cap of the Knights of Cygnus is 120. 120/5 = 24. Which is correct because the Empress Blessing has a master level of 24. You can now get 24 weapon attack/magic, accuracy and avoidability. The Empress Blessing does not stack with Spirits Blessing. In the description of the Empress Blessing skill, it says that the effect will only apply if one of the blessings is higher than the other. If you have Lv. 20 Spirits Blessing and Lv. 21 Empress Blessing, the effect of Empress Blessing will apply. In short your Bishop will receive the level 16 Blessing of the Empress from your CK, your CK will receive the level 14 Blessing of the Fairy from your Bishop. Any other characters will receive the level 16 Blessing from your CK.

coupon descriptions Wrote:This coupon allows users to earn 130%/150% Exp. The coupon will be activated immediately after purchase, and the double experience effect will be available for 1 hour upon purchase. Can't stack with 2x EXP Event.Anyone care to explain where they get 1.3x/1.5x coupons from "users earn 130%/150% exp." Where in the maplestory universe has exp referred to in percentages ever meant exp boost? "I really enjoyed the 200% exp boost last weekend". How is it any more difficult to understand than allows you to earn 130%/150% exp? What's not to get? I earn .03% exp per kill right now, when I use one of these coupons and the double experience effect kicks in, I will be gaining .06% exp until I gain 130/150% or until the hour is up. Could it really be anymore convoluted than what it says on the tin?

Can i call for a motion that adds a new infraction for posting rumors about maplestory from other sites? This is getting ridiculous.

So basically I'll have the same blessing I've had before this, until I level up a KoC enough to override the fairy's blessing? I think I understand it now.

The confusion with the cards is the second line, where it says double experience. While it's clear that it was just another Nexon failed copy/paste, some people have interpreted this as many different things than the cards giving 30% or 50% EXP.
The cards themselves will give 1.3x and 1.5x EXP for 1 hour. Simple as that.

Let me simplify it to the lowest common denominator. The coupons say they allow users to earn 130%/150% exp. When you kill something, you EARN EXP. When you've killed enough things to have gained 130%/150% exp (or you reach the hour limit), the coupon expires. Simple as that. It's exactly what the description says. And you still have no explanation for why they would leave "upon purchase you will be receiving a double experience effect". This is a cash shop item, why would they leave such a humongous error leaving them susceptible to massive refunds in it? Does this mean that 2x events will be referred to as 200% exp events now? FoolsLove Wrote:The cards themselves will give 1.3x and 1.5x EXP for 1 hour. Simple as that. What proof do you have of that other than your bizarre interpretation of the description? You're making this out to be a lot more confusing than it really is.

Because precedence with every other EXP boosting item or event ever in the history of the game holds that all EXP boosts are fixed multipliers with a fixed duration, and common sense. Why would anyone even buy the red one?

Why would anyone even buy the red one? what I'm trying to say is precedence dictates exp boosts were always referred as integers, not percentages. Wanna make this interesting and have loser make a signature saying "I WAS WRONG ABOUT EXP COUPONS" for the rest of the month? I'm that certain that, based on those descriptions, I am correct.

The pineapple does it matter? At the end of the day you get a boost in exp, stop being so technical.

Not that that's interesting at all. I'll actually be incredibly amused if you turn out to be correct and Nexon's cash items are actually that horribly designed.

If you think I'm wrong put your guts where your mouth is and take on my little wager of loser has to put in their signature that they were wrong about the exp coupon fiasco. Edit: Awesome I wanna take this a step further and have loser ALSO has to make a thread about it and apologizing to all who were right. (all fellow losers will post in the same thread)

If it was really an exp gain cap, wouldn't it say that you could earn up to 130%/150% rather than it allows you to gain 130%/150%? I mean the way the description is now, it could also be interpreted as you could gain 130%/150% in one hour, guaranteed.
It's just a mistake in the description, we'll find out sooner or later, be it from extraction with corrected description, the event notice for the cards, or within the game itself.
